It is a country worth traveling, but it is not easy to apply for a visa to Germany. Here I would like to share with you the materials needed for a German visa and the detailed processing procedures.

Business investigation and travel self-service process

1. Website registration

The first step in applying for a German visa is to log on to the China-Chile-Germany Visa website to register for the application. Just register by email.

2. Division of visa areas.

Official website: Please apply for a visa to the corresponding German embassies and consulates in China according to the consular district where you live, work and study for a long time.

If there are multiple visa centers in your area, you can submit a visa application at any visa center in your area.

Beijing consular district

Include Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Henan, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Shandong, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Gansu, Qinghai, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Xizang Autonomous Region.

Shanghai consular district

Including the following provinces and cities: Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui.

After registering on the website, you will get an admission number starting with m.

First, fill out the application form.

The first step is to choose the time of Schengen and the type of visa. Different types need different contents and materials.

Take short-term business trips and tourism applications as examples.

Fill in personal information

Because it is a business visa, you need an invitation letter from a German company or hotel. The invitation letter must be accompanied by the details of the invitee, the time and purpose of the invitation, the address and telephone number of the inviting unit, etc.

Fill in the information in the invitation letter on the application form.

Fill in, save and submit. Then make an appointment to send the sign. Download and print the application form.

Step 3: Prepare the materials.

After the application is submitted, the website will prepare a detailed list of materials for you. Just prepare according to the above requirements.

Material content generally includes:

1. Travel passport (original+copy)

-Passport should be valid for at least 3 months longer than visa application.

-Passport must be signed by the passport holder himself (China applicants sign in Chinese).

-At least two blank visa pages.

-Passport is not damaged

2. Two ID photos

-Two photos with white background documents within 6 months.

3. Application form for short-term Schengen visa (original)

-The application form should be completed completely.

-The application form must be signed by the applicant himself; The application form of minor applicants must be signed by at least one parent (* * * There are three places to sign: supplementary statement in item 37 and beyond).

4. Invitation letter from German enterprise/business partner (original)

-For the requirements of invitation letter, please refer to "Business Invitation Letter" in FAQ.

-The invitation letter must include the name, position, current contact information and autograph of the person in charge of the inviter (electronic signatures are not accepted); Third parties are prohibited from imitating or forging signatures.

-Invitations should be submitted in original or clearly scanned form. If you submit a scanned copy, you must attach an email to send this invitation for printing.

5. The applicant's bank account statement (original)

-the transaction statement of the applicant's salary account or other current deposit account that can prove his income in the last three months.

-Credit cards and time deposit accounts are not accepted.

6. Travel plan (original)

-Package Tour: Please provide the detailed travel itinerary issued by the travel agency (the name of the organizer of this tour must be displayed on the tour travel itinerary).

-Self-help tour: Please provide the detailed itinerary drawn up by the applicant. Travel itinerary should include destination, stay time and transportation.

Important note:

If you travel with others, but submit an application separately, please indicate the full name and passport number of the person traveling with you and the name of the travel agency that organized the trip in your travel itinerary. 8. 9. Travel medical insurance (original+copy)

3. The insured amount shall not be less than 30,000 euros.

10. On-the-job certificate issued by the work unit/self-operated enterprise (original)

-Use the company's official stationery, indicating the company's current address and contact information (telephone number, fax number, email address and website home page); Published in Chinese with German or English translation; Stamp the official seal of the company

-Signed by the person in charge of the company (electronic signatures are not accepted); Third parties are prohibited from imitating or forging signatures.

The invitation letter from Germany must coincide with the time when you apply for entry, and cannot exceed the time of the invitation letter.

Make a simple travel plan.

Medical insurance can go to Ping 'an, official website, China, and there is insurance specially needed for visa application. Buying insurance online, the destination should be Schengen first, then Germany.

The bank statement of the work unit in the last three months must be the company's Gong Hu, and the bank statement has the company name and bank seal.

Proof of employment, one in Chinese and one in English, showing your identity information, passport number, working years, position and annual income.

Be sure to be signed by the person in charge after writing.

Finally, just send the prepared materials to the visa center or mail them.
