Xiangtan Medical and Health Vocational and Technical College is a full-time general public medical and health vocational college sponsored by Xiangtan Municipal People's Government and enrolling students nationwide. Its school-running history can be traced back to Guangde Senior Nursing Vocational School founded by Presbyterian Church in 19 15. The school, formerly known as Xiangtan Vocational and Technical College, was merged from Xiangtan Staff University, Xiangtan Mechanical and Electrical Industry Technical Secondary School and Xiangtan Health School in 20001and 2004.
