Entering pediatrics, I learned from the teachers that pediatrics is a comprehensive department, covering various diseases of internal medicine and surgery. However, the types of children's diseases are very different from those of adults: the onset is urgent, the momentum is fierce and the changes are rapid. Therefore, our pediatricians should formulate a series of corresponding treatment measures according to the characteristics of their diseases. Because of children's own characteristics and young age, they can't or can't accurately describe their illness, and they don't know how to cooperate with medical staff. Pediatric diagnosis and treatment work is complicated, difficult and demanding. In addition to treating diseases, there are a lot of health education and life knowledge teaching, so I will subtly observe the child's condition every day. If you find that your condition has changed, you will report it to the teacher in time, adjust the treatment plan or change the medication.
After understanding the basic clinical manifestations and treatment methods of four common pediatric diseases: pneumonia, diarrhea, rickets and anemia, I began to devote myself to internship. Under the tireless teaching of clinical tutors Walter WANG and Yang Jia, I have continuously absorbed and strengthened my professional knowledge and accumulated some work experience. At the same time, under the guidance of the teacher, I began to take over the patients independently, which was a challenge and exercise for me and also a kind of trust. I feel very lucky. Although I made mistakes in this process, I gained experience and lessons. With the help of teachers, the patients I took over were discharged smoothly. I was very excited at the moment when she was discharged from the hospital. I believe this is an important starting point of my life, and people will always look for it in different failures.
After two months of pediatric practice, I have grown a lot, gradually getting rid of my naivety and ignorance when I first came to the hospital for practice, and gradually becoming mature. In the "internship post", I not only learned some basic treatment methods and treatment knowledge of common pediatric diseases, but more importantly, I learned how to communicate with patients' families and keep abreast of the changes and treatment effects of the disease. Pediatrics is to treat children. For every parent, the most precious thing is their own children. Family members and medical staff are based on the idea of thinking about children, so we should not only have exquisite clinical skills to minimize the pain of patients, but also explain the knowledge of daily life to the families of patients. For example: diet education, environmental sanitation, clothing, psychological counseling, etc. Every time I preach these daily health care and nursing methods to my family, they all thank me very much, and I am particularly pleased. The comfort of enjoying the fruits of labor and the feeling of being affirmed by family members-how cool!
To be an excellent pediatrician, it is not enough to have clinical knowledge. Besides some routine treatment, we should communicate with our families more. Tell them some methods other than diseases. For example, pat the back correctly to help expectoration, guide parents to use drugs correctly, and give health guidance when leaving the hospital, such as reasonable feeding and strengthening physical exercise. In the usual practice, it is often seen that teachers preach to parents and ask them to apply what they have learned flexibly in practice, which is the highest realm of clinical work. Only by relaying it to the patient's family can we show that we really understand the book knowledge and can achieve mastery through a comprehensive study, which is beneficial to both doctors and patients. The experience around me has made me deeply touched and benefited a lot, and I have a deeper understanding of the role of pediatricians. You should have good professional quality, physical quality and communication skills, apply what you have learned flexibly to your work, and have keen observation at the same time. We sincerely send warmth to the patients, and every word gives them hope of recovery and makes them see the dawn. Maybe we just gave them insignificant care, but for them, it is confidence and strength, an unshakable belief that can help patients tide over the difficulties.
As an intern, what I can do may be negligible. I can only accumulate, work hard and reflect in my daily practice. I'm not worried that I will make a mistake. Although we are young and immature, we should not be afraid of failure, because this is the only way for us to succeed. I correctly realize that I must give full play to my potential in the future internship and give full play to my ability in the future internship. I hope that I will make fewer mistakes, get deeper and deeper, and gain more and more, so I will get closer and closer to success.
Perhaps these experiences are just a drop of water in the vast ocean; A pebble in the vast desert is a precious treasure to me, just like a wave on the vast beach, leaving countless sparkling shells, which is worth collecting and remembering. Perhaps these gains are relatively small, but I believe that success is accumulated on every small progress. "Rome was not built in a day."
Internship is my first step out of clinical work. I know there are many frustrations and hardships waiting for me, so I am mentally prepared. I also know that sometimes I have to reluctantly face these complicated things, but I will not shrink back, I will bravely face the challenge! Because there is a "work" mountain not far away waiting for me to climb fearlessly!
"The road is long, Xiu Yuan, and I will go up and down." Stand up straight and work hard, I firmly believe that climbing mountains and mountains is a charming scenery!
