Opinions and suggestions on mental health services

With the rapid development of economy and society, there are more and more psychological problems, which seriously affect the establishment of a harmonious society. In order to build a harmonious society in China, more mental health workers need to join the society to solve and reduce psychological problems. At the same time, major medical colleges and normal universities are constantly expanding the enrollment scale and carrying out professional training in theory and practice to meet the needs of mental health service talents.

As one of the main industries in society, mental health service industry needs to expand its own team and improve the level and ability of the whole mental health service in order to improve its social status and professional development.

1.2 problems of mental health service professionals

1.2. 1 The number of mental health service personnel is insufficient and the quality is not high.

Although the number of mental health service talents in China has increased year by year, it still cannot meet the actual needs of our country, and the number of talents is insufficient and the quality is not high. There are not many schools and institutions about mental health education in China, and many training institutions are small in scale. During the training period, they often only pay attention to theoretical teaching and lack practical teaching and practice.

1.2.2 There is a lack of unified and standardized certification bodies for talent team training.

The National Professional Standard for Psychological Counselors does not stipulate the qualifications of training institutions and trainers for psychological counselors and therapists. All training courses have no uniform standards for teachers, course content and requirements. In short-term training courses, almost all of them are teaching psychological theory, lacking clinical practice teaching. The training time is particularly short, which seriously affects the actual effect.

1.2.3 the construction of mental health service talent team lacks supervision and supervision system.

In the work of mental health services, the Ministry of Labor, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education all have their own independent vocational qualification certification training and examinations, but they do not recognize each other's certificates. Moreover, the lack of mutual supervision and management always leads to contradictions and irregular behaviors, which is very unfavorable to the development of mental health services in China.
