In order to commemorate the adoption day of the organization's charter, the World Health Organization was formally established at the first World Health Assembly held in Geneva in June 1948, and decided to designate April 7th as World Health Day every year, and various countries launched various commemorative activities. On April 7, 2023, the theme of World Health Day was determined as "seventy-five years of improving public health".

The National Health and Wellness Committee defined China's propaganda theme as "quality resources sink, and everyone enjoys health".

1946 On July 22nd, the United Nations Economic and Social Council held the first International Health Assembly in new york, and representatives of more than 60 countries signed the Charter of the World Health Organization, which came into effect on April 7th, 1948. To commemorate the adoption of the Charter, the first United Nations World Health Assembly was held in June 1948 in Geneva.
1949, the Second World Health Assembly decided on April 7th as the Global World Health Day from 1950. Considering that schools in most countries are closed every year due to the summer vacation, this highlights the key areas of concern of WHO.
