What is the health literacy of residents who create a healthy town?
Residents' health literacy refers to people's mastery and application of relevant knowledge, skills and behaviors in daily life to maintain and promote their all-round development in physical, psychological and social welfare. According to the Shanghai Municipal Development and Reform Commission, residents' health literacy refers to the ability of individuals to obtain and understand basic health information and services, and use these information and services to make correct decisions to maintain and promote their own health. Its evaluation index is health literacy rate, which mainly reflects residents' health literacy from three aspects: health concept and basic knowledge, healthy lifestyle and behavior, and health skills.
