What is the function of bridge detection?

The significance of bridge detection is mainly reflected in the following aspects:

First, through the regular inspection of bridges, we can check the health status of bridges, and then find or control diseases in time.

Secondly, through the regular inspection of bridges, establish and improve the relevant files of bridge technical conditions.

Thirdly, through the regular inspection of the bridge, the technical condition of the bridge can be evaluated, and objective and detailed statistical data can be formed, which provides important reference materials for the maintenance, reinforcement and technical transformation of the bridge.

Fourthly, through the regular inspection of the bridge, the potential safety hazards of the bridge can be found in time, thus effectively preventing the occurrence of safety accidents.

1. Periodic inspection: including bridge deck system inspection, superstructure inspection and substructure inspection.

2. Regular structural inspection: including concrete strength inspection, concrete carbonation depth inspection, steel bar position inspection and concrete protective layer thickness inspection.

3. Detection of underwater components: Detection of concrete shedding, cracks, exposed tendons, cavities, mechanical damage and other diseases of underwater pile foundation, and video recording.

4. Bearing capacity appraisal: It is judged whether the bearing capacity of the bridge can meet the design requirements at this stage through bearing capacity appraisal.

5. Long-term monitoring point arrangement and first observation: In order to observe the displacement of pier and main girder under the action of vehicles for a long time, and thus analyze the safety of the bridge, monitoring points are arranged at key parts of the bridge, and the monitoring points are observed for the first time.

6. Submit the final bridge inspection report of each bridge that meets the requirements of China people's and national industry standard "Technical Specification for Urban Bridge Maintenance" CJJ99-2003. In addition to the above contents, the report should also include opinions on the setting of load limit and height limit signs for each bridge.
