We actively organize and mobilize residents, especially retired elderly residents, to participate in various cultural teams. In the social dance competition for the elderly organized by the street in July this year, the team of our Maotai neighborhood Committee won the second prize. Maotai is an old city with many foreign tenants, many residential areas and convenient roads, which often brings great difficulties to safety management. According to the actual situation of residential areas, the public security measures combining civil air defense, physical defense and technical defense should be implemented, and the management of public security information officers, retired party member red armband patrolmen and other volunteers should be strengthened, and the management of a doorman should be strengthened. At the same time, we also cooperated with the police and the housing coordinator block by block.
We also focus on five categories of people (helping education, released from prison, mentally ill, laid-off, unemployed, elderly people living alone), care about their lives, solve their specific difficulties in life, and constantly improve the public security situation in the community through various public security measures to safeguard the peace of one party in the region.
Fourth, do practical things for the people and unite harmony.
In Maotai area, there are many old people, unemployed people and people in difficulty. Coupled with the poor living environment, various contradictions often occur. Under the leadership of the General Party Branch, neighborhood committees persist in doing practical things for the people, rallying people's hearts and building harmony. First of all, we always care about the unemployed and laid-off workers, organize them to carry out various vocational guidance and training, and introduce them to re-employment opportunities through various channels, especially for some foreign wives without special skills, and we go all out to find suitable jobs for them. For those families with difficulties in life, we actively reflect to the streets, provide them with corresponding help and give financial subsidies; Give care from life; Give spiritual encouragement; Explain from the policy, let them feel the care of the government and the warmth of the community family in the predicament.
Provide various services for different groups, such as the elderly and the disabled, and list them as key visitors, provide services for the convenience and benefit of the people, open up new service items and methods on the basis of understanding the needs of residents, advocate "melting family ties, gathering warmth, sending care and warming people's hearts", and build a harmonious atmosphere in cohesion.
