Feeling after listening to the lecture on mental health knowledge

After listening to the lectures by Professor XXX and XXX, I was deeply touched and couldn't help thinking: How to prevent and solve many psychological problems of students? How can we master the "degree" of corporal punishment, a sensitive topic? How to really walk into a child's heart? ..... all these questions are lingering in my mind.

Take the fifth grade students in primary school as an example. Some students in my class are always unwilling to make progress and lack motivation. It seems that the teacher forced him to take a step forward, and he took another step forward, relaxed a little and went his own way. For example, Chen Mou in my class doesn't do his homework seriously at ordinary times, and he doodles in order to do things well. The results have always been at the bottom, and Chinese, mathematics and English are the same. It is understood that he has been like this since the first grade. For him, this seems to be a very common thing. I took a quick look at my heart. I contacted my parents and tried to change my counseling strategy after learning more about it. Now I accompany him every day, watching him do his homework and tutoring him from the side. Parents pick up and drop off at night, study by themselves at night and supervise homework. However, the effect is average. If the title is still wrong, the words will not be written silently. It's just that my homework has been finished. There is still a perfunctory element.

After listening to the lecture, I was lost in thought. Am I wrong? Maybe he really thinks he has worked hard, but I still don't think it's enough. Maybe he really thinks he has worked hard, but I still don't think it's good enough. Maybe he is used to thinking that he is a poor student, but he thinks it should be a "broken jar"? Maybe I didn't encourage him enough? ..... need to find the answer! Need a solution!

I read all kinds of books about psychology and consulted experienced old teachers in the school, hoping to find the answer to the question.

Chen's situation is not uncommon in our class, but there are still many concerns because of students' different personalities and backgrounds. At present, we can only carry out activities to help and learn from each other. The arrangement of seats should try to create a good learning environment for him and give full play to the role of "little teacher" after class. Design different levels of goals, set achievable goals for him, let him really feel the joy of success, try his best to improve his grades, and let him realize that "I can do it." I will never give up!
