In 20 18, visteon introduced the first generation of SmartCore cockpit controller for the first time on production models. Geely's new SUV Xingyue L, which debuted at this year's Shanghai Auto Show, is equipped with Visteon's Smartcore cockpit domain controller. In addition, SmartCore integrates the multi-screen display environment in the car, and realizes the in-car linkage covering instrument information, information interaction, rear entertainment, information security and vehicle information system. On the basis of the powerful performance of the third generation Qualcomm Snapdragon digital cockpit platform, Visteon's SmartCore cockpit domain controller further enhanced the technical strength of the intelligent cockpit, which provided a guarantee for the transformation of Easy Cartoon Technology into an intelligent cockpit solution.

SmartCore can independently operate multiple displays and applications in the cockpit, providing diversified information and entertainment services while ensuring driving safety. In the process from the operation of the screen and the underlying application to the guarantee of the safety system in the car cockpit, Visteon SmartCore is the information "ferryman" between the driver's demand and the car, and builds a communication bridge between the on-board SOC and the on-board system layer, so it becomes an indispensable part of the intelligent cockpit solution.

The new generation of SmartCore can seamlessly connect HMI in multiple display fields, including all-digital instrument, infotainment, rear seat infotainment, panoramic camera and in-vehicle perception, including driver monitoring and facial recognition. This new HDR display technology has been patented. MicroZone has achieved breakthroughs in several key display technologies, including color gamut, contrast and brightness level. Micro-area technology aims to accelerate the development of more energy-saving, more economical and mass-produced digital display solutions. All general electric vehicles based on Ultium battery will be equipped with wireless battery management system as standard.
