Will the health code quit?

I will quit later.

During the epidemic prevention and control period, it is a state of emergency, and individuals can transfer part of their privacy for public epidemic prevention. However, after the epidemic prevention, there is no reason to continue to track the personal whereabouts data of the public, and the previously retained data should also be destroyed or sealed.

At the same time, in the past few years, there is no need to completely abandon the data architecture and technical infrastructure established by the government in the process of promoting health codes.

Moreover, in the process of using health codes, the public has also improved their ability to apply digital tools, especially those elderly people who are not familiar with smart phones, and most of them have learned basic operations.

Therefore, on the basis of the above two, the health code can be transformed from the original "control" to "service".

For example, it can be used in the medical field first as a personal identification, which is convenient for everyone to make an appointment, register, pay fees and take medicine.

You can also turn to public services other than medical care, such as electronic transportation cards.

In this regard, Shanghai's "application code" is far-sighted. It was not called "health code" at the beginning of its establishment, that is, it has taken into account the personal electronic identity or electronic ID that can be used as citizens after the outbreak, for taking public transport, seeking medical treatment, doing business, entering and leaving museum libraries, etc. In the future, it can be extended to more public services.

It can be said that whenever we need to bring a card or certificate in the past, we can use this electronic code instead in the future.

For example, we have been complaining that we need to carry all kinds of certificates and copies when we go to the government service center to handle affairs. Then, after this code is connected with the data of government services in the future, we can replace ID cards, household registration books, driver's licenses, real estate licenses and other documents when we do things, and play a role in facilitating the people and benefiting the people.

Of course, citizens can also choose not to highlight the code, still show their cards or paper documents, and voluntarily choose the way they like.
