Interview question: Why did you choose to work in food safety supervision?

The food and drug safety situation is still grim:

-The problem of counterfeiting in food production and processing is outstanding. Some use non-food raw materials to process food, some abuse or overuse whitening agents, preservatives, food pigments and other processed foods, some adulterate fake wine and inferior milk powder, and use waste oil to process edible oil.

-The operating order of food circulation links is not standardized. First, a large number of food enterprises are small and chaotic, with difficulty in traceability management, low level of graded packaging and even illegal use of substandard packaging. Second, some enterprises use preservatives and preservatives excessively in the process of food procurement, storage and transportation. Third, some operators sell fake and inferior food and spoiled food. Others peddle "three noes" food and fake and shoddy food without factory name and address, factory certificate and shelf life in rural markets, urban-rural junctions and around the campus, which seriously harms the health of farmers and minors.

-food hygiene and safety accidents occur from time to time. 20 1 1 in the second quarter, our department received a total of 57 reports of food poisoning emergencies (hereinafter referred to as food poisoning incidents) through the network direct reporting system of China Center for Disease Control and Prevention, with 2,658 people poisoned, including 29 deaths.
