Xi Anpeihua College is a private university with the right to award bachelor's degrees approved by the people and the Ministry of Education of China. The history of the college can be traced back to the first female civilian vocational school in Xi, sponsored by Shaanxi Women's Vocational Education Promotion Association and approved by Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education 1928. After several changes, Anpeihua Women's University was founded by Chinese educator Professor Jiang on 1984, becoming the first ordinary institution of higher learning specializing in women's education in China.
