Ding began to learn piano at the age of three, and studied under Professor Wu Ying, director of the piano department of the Central Conservatory of Music. 13 years old soloist in Shanghai Concert Hall, joined CCTV after graduation from Communication University of China. Now he is the host of CCTV- 10, Science Zoo, Healthy Road, and CCTV-/kloc-0, International Art Garden and Population.
