What's the difference between a health manager and a public dietitian?

Health managers are professionals engaged in the detection, analysis and evaluation of individual and group health, as well as health consultation, guidance and risk factor intervention. It spans many disciplines such as medicine, nutrition, psychology, traditional Chinese medicine, kinematics, rehabilitation and chronic disease management, and is the most scarce compound talent in the health industry. Health manager is a high-end occupation, which integrates nutritionist, psychological counselor, physical examination doctor, preventive medicine doctor, health education expert and medical information manager.

A dietitian is a professional engaged in nutrition consultation. The World Health Organization (WHO) defines nutritionists as evaluating, planning and implementing nutrition projects to promote the impact of food and nutrition on human health. They may use research, evaluation and education to improve the nutritional level of individuals or groups.

As can be seen from the above, a health manager is a relatively comprehensive profession, while a nutritionist mainly starts with nutrition.
