How to be a reliable (X) referee in amateur football match

"Some people say that football is higher than life and death", then the referee is the referee who is higher than life and death!

There are thousands of football fans. In fact, amateur football is very popular in every city in China, but the referee of amateur football is often abandoned in the corner and becomes a dispensable role. This is a bad start. The more abandoned, the more rejected, so many people mistakenly think that you can be a referee if you can play football, or "if you can't play well, you can be a referee." Many amateur competitions also randomly pieced together a set of referees, which led to complaints from players on the field and even conflicts on the field.

As a certified referee (in fact, the registration time is not long and it has expired), let's talk about how to be a reliable referee in amateur football matches. I believe that a reliable referee can control the order of the stadium well, thus ensuring the quality of amateur football matches!

First of all, you should learn to judge what kind of amateur football match you need and pay attention to the referee.

Because in many amateur ball games I have participated in, there is no referee, or more obviously, there is only one referee in the sevens game. This is all naked discrimination against referee work. If you want to be a reliable referee with X, oh, no, then you must stay away from this kind of competition and love life. Because whether it's five-a-side, seven-a-side or11-the referee can't tell whether it's out of bounds or offside-of course, the five-a-side game is not offside, and I really know the ball. Once there is a disputed ball in this area, no matter how you blow it, there will always be one party who is dissatisfied and even combined by irrational players.

Second, make full preparations before the start of the competition and highlight your professionalism.

employment certificate

If you have a certificate, remember to bring your referee grade certificate (in China, football referees are divided into five grades, from low to high, which are national level 3, national level 2, national level 1, national level 1 and international level. Only the national level and above can judge the Super League and the Chinese League. Amateur competitions are generally third-and second-level referees, and most of them start from the school football association or register with the local football association soon. Read the order carefully and be familiar with the international standard rules. Usually, the rules of amateur competition will be changed on the basis of standard international rules to adapt to the skills, tactics and physical strength of amateur players. For example, kick-off foul, penalty of returning the ball to the goalkeeper, direct free kick and indirect free kick are all often encountered in amateur competitions. These will affect your control and credibility of the game. Confirm with the organizer what hardware they provide, such as corner flagpole, edge flag of linesman, etc.

watch

You should have two watches, a stopwatch to record the time in the game, and a simple watch to see the time in case of emergency. You haven't met the embarrassment that your watch suddenly broke down shortly after the start of the game. Of course, before blowing the halftime whistle, I don't know how many grass mud horses I have washed in my heart.

whistle

Speaking of whistles, you should also have two whistles. You can't use a whistle with poor quality, and the sound will leak, which will not reflect your majesty on the court. The best whistle should be the Fox brand, which costs tens to hundreds. Butterflies in China are also good, cheap and practical. You see, I usually use red and blue whistles. Black whistles are unlucky and will never be used. It is best not to use a long belt. It's really ugly that the belt hangs down when blowing the whistle. If you are stubborn, wrap it around your wrist.

Red and yellowcard.

Then there are essential red, yellow and yellow cards, pens and recording paper. This is nothing special, as long as you don't make inferior red and yellow cards, there is a ready-made set on the market. Another reminder, in order to better install X, we should separate the red card from the yellow card. I usually put the red card in the back pocket of the referee's shorts alone and don't shoot easily. If you see me running towards you with my back pocket on my back, you know it's time for you to go back to the dressing room. This not only avoids the embarrassment of picking the wrong card, but also shows your determination and self-recognition. Remember, it is the most beautiful moment when the referee runs past the player with a red card, just like the foreplay you love. If you screw up, you will be laughed at and there may be an audience.

Referee's uniform

You can't compete naked, although many players don't wear uniforms in amateur competitions. As a referee, you should have a complete set of referee clothes. Dark gray shorts, yellow or dark gray tops and black shoes and socks can make you stand out among the players, yes, you, a touch of bright black (yellow) color on the pitch!

Third, there is still 1 hour before the game.

Arrive at the stadium at least one hour in advance. Make sure you have your own equipment. Confirm the facilities on the court, such as the hardness of the court, the quality of the lawn, whether the lines drawn on the court are clear, whether the net is in good condition, whether there are corner flagpoles and whether there are side flags cut by the linesman.

After confirmation, you can warm up with your referee team and do some running and stretching near the center line to prevent strain during the game. Amateur competitions are often backed by no fourth referee. This is also an important moment to install X, and it is also your first impression of the players who are warming up. So during the warm-up process, talk to your right-hand man (linesman), guide and relax.

Four, add your two whistles.

The game hasn't started yet. At this time, you stand at the junction of the center line and the sideline with the ball in your hand, and blow the whistle twice in a row. The last whistle is longer to tell both players that the game is about to begin. Please gather on your left and right and line up for admission. In fact, many teams don't understand this intention, so you should shout at the top of your lungs: Admission!

The two teams enter the stadium, stand separately near the kick-off point, signal to the audience (in most cases imaginary), shake hands with the players of both sides, let the captains of both sides pick sides, and tell them to "be quiet", "listen to the whistle" and "friendship first".

The ball is placed at the tee point in the middle circle. As a referee, you need to raise your hand to the goalkeeper and linesman to show that everyone is in position.

Five, use your whistle.

The game has already started. Remember, as a referee, the best way for you to exist is to let others feel your existence. Isn't that a little pathetic? After all, you promised that the game would be fair and smooth. You can't touch the ball, and you shouldn't touch it, but you should still run around with the ball and keep an eye on it. In my experience, pay attention to the following points. First of all, you should always keep a certain distance from the ball. Take seven as an example, three or five meters is more suitable. Second, in the general direction, you should run in an "S" shape, because your two linesmen can't cross the midfield. Suppose they are in the right frontcourt and the left backcourt respectively, then your running should be in the shape of "left frontcourt-middle circle-right backcourt", which can not only make up for the far end of the linesman, but also ensure that the ball and linesman are on one side of your line of sight as much as possible, so that you can see offside in time. Third, you should have a general judgment on the development direction of the ball, so that you can choose the position earlier and observe the ball from a better angle. There are some unwritten rules in amateur competitions, such as: tackle-blow the whistle when you put someone down, whether you touch the ball first or not; I can't afford to fall to the ground when I'm injured-I won't see if it's beneficial, I'll try to stop the game; Make-up time-there is generally no make-up time. For some movements, amateurs have no professional training, and the risks to others and themselves are relatively high, mainly to ensure everyone's health and safety. No one wants to play football happily during the holiday, so they will go to class with crutches next week.

Of course, you should regard the stadium as your own stage and show your confidence. I have seen many referees in amateur competitions afraid to blow their whistle, hesitant and even confused about the penalty. When a player makes a hullabaloo about, they will be confused, mainly because they lack confidence in their professional level. At the professional level, it is mainly rules, whistles and gestures. Because of the continuous development and evolution in the history of football, it has become what it is today. I won't discuss it in detail here, but as a referee, I need to constantly update my knowledge in this field, so it is very important to keep pace with the times. For example, offside penalty and goal judgment have been adjusted in recent years. If the understanding of the rules is the essence of the referee, it is "ten years' work under the stage", then the whistle and gesture are the referee's "one minute on the stage". The stadium is your stage! Whistle is your accompaniment! Gestures are the way you dance! But you are destined to be just a dancer. An excellent dancer, who knows how to keep a low profile, can evaluate whether an amateur referee is excellent or not, which can be seen from controlling the whistle frequency. During the game, you don't need to blow your whistle every time you die. When there is no dispute about the ownership of the ball, you just need to give a gesture to make the game go smoothly. Only when the ownership of the ball is disputed, you need to stand up and tell the players who is in charge here with whistles and gestures!

Although you are a "judge in black", it is still very important to judge the situation. Talking to people and talking nonsense can make you stand between people and ghosts (yes, nonsense! )! It depends on the strength comparison between the two sides and whether the relationship between victory and defeat is important. In tense and important matches, we should strictly punish penalty kicks, issue yellow cards as soon as possible, actively restrain players' impatience and impulsiveness, and make decisions decisively, but with a kind expression. Let both sides trust your judgment and authority. It's easier to compete in a disparity of strength, and everyone will call it a day for entertainment. In fact, I have always been very strict about blowing off the game!

Six, beep ~ beep ~ beep ~ ~ ~

At the end of the whole game, you drew a curtain on the stage of the stadium, and the curtain call was the final performance. Hold the ball, stand at the kick-off point in the middle lap, ask the players from both sides to queue up to shake hands (in fact, it is high-five), congratulate the winner (but not very good), encourage the loser (really bad), let everyone cheer and tell everyone that it is hard. It's officially over

Seven. follow-up action

Organize your game penalty record, scorer, card taker and penalty time. If there are special circumstances, such as violations or conflicts, you can review the process and give the written perspective of the judging panel for the organizers to make follow-up announcements and accountability.

Take a hot bath and pretend that X is finished!

Actually, I just want to wish everyone a happy game!
