Is ppr tube toxic to noodle fighting?

As far as the main characteristics of PPR tube are concerned, it is non-toxic and sanitary. The raw material molecules of PP-R are only carbon and hydrogen, and there are no harmful and toxic elements. Sanitary and reliable, it can be used not only for hot and cold water pipelines, but also for pure drinking water systems.

However, after using PPR plastic water pipe for a period of time, the inner wall of the pipe is seriously polluted, which is a breeding ground for bacteria and Legionella, a new killer of human health and a potential life threat, and is not suitable for domestic tap water pipes.

In 2002, when PPR plastic pipes were used as water pipes in China, an unpublished inspection report from Beijing Center for Disease Control and Prevention showed that there were countless bacteria in the water quality of domestic PPR water pipes, and Legionella pneumophila 1 and 5 were detected, which was shocking and exceeded the banned galvanized pipes. The test results of water quality by relevant departments show that there are as many as 28 kinds of bacteria and 6 kinds of metal elements/kloc-0, among which iron, manganese, zinc, lead and mercury seriously exceed the standard. The water pipes of PPR contain dirt and dirt, which is a breeding ground for bacteria. In the pipeline industry, the dirt on the inner wall of PPR tap water pipe after a period of use was sampled. The test results show that it is a kind of yellow rust tumor, which contains microorganisms such as Bacillus, cocci and bacteria, as well as a large number of iron bacteria, Escherichia coli, intestinal bacteria, inhibitory bacteria, Acinetobacter, Aeromonas, Arthrobacter and Bacillus, with at least 10 species in pseudomonas putida. The concentration of heterotrophic bacteria, Escherichia coli, radioactive bacteria and fungi in the dirt on the inner wall of the pipeline is extremely high. Tongji University, Tsinghua University, Shanghai Water Purification Association, International Copper Association (China) and Wuhan Institute of Virology, Chinese Academy of Sciences all had discussions.

PPR plastic pipe itself is non-toxic and meets the hygienic requirements, but it has no self-cleaning function and sterilization function. In the specific environment of domestic water use, the pollution of water source, the backward technology of waterworks and the outdated and unreasonable pipe network make domestic PPR water pipes become the gathering place of secondary pollutants and the breeding ground of bacteria, which seriously threatens human health. In recent years, health reports of some cities in China reveal that a large number of diseases and cancers are related to the quality of domestic tap water and the wrong choice of water pipe materials.

So experts suggest:

1) replace the water pipe: the longer the PPR water pipe is used, the greater the toxicity, or clean and disinfect the old pipe regularly.

2) Install pre-filter and cabinet water purifier in the old pipeline.

3) Customers who newly decorate household water pipes can learn from European and American countries and install plastic-coated copper pipes (slightly higher price) or copper-lined PPR pipes (moderate price) at home. Because copper has excellent sterilization function and self-cleaning function, it is most suitable for household use.
