Breast milk leads to health.

First, is milk light and nutritious?

Some mothers' milk looks clear as water when squeezed in a cup, and is often mistaken for being less nutritious than thick milk, but it is not. The nutrition of light milk is not necessarily worse than that of thick milk, but the composition of milk is different. The milk secreted at postpartum 1-2 weeks does look a bit like water, but this kind of colostrum has more protein, less fat and more trace elements such as zinc and immune substances. Therefore, the seemingly light milk is actually very precious, which is conducive to enhancing the baby's digestion and absorption ability. Therefore, don't squeeze the colostrum out a few days before delivery, and be sure to let the baby enjoy this most precious gift food!

After two or six months, the quality of breast milk is poor.

This view is wrong. The World Health Organization recommends that babies be exclusively breastfed for the first six months after birth, and insist on breastfeeding for two years or more. And the quality of breast milk will not change with the growth of children. After 6 months of exclusive breastfeeding, it is suggested that complementary food can be added according to local conditions and the baby's own growth needs, so that the baby can continue to obtain nutrition from breast milk.

Third, breast milk can make breasts deformed and ugly.

Whether the breast is deformed after breastfeeding is related to the maintenance and care of the breast before breastfeeding. Breastfeeding itself will not cause breast deformation. On the contrary, breastfeeding can promote the mother to secrete oxytocin, which will enhance the elasticity of the suspensory ligament of the breast. Postpartum breast deformation is because from the moment the fertilized egg is implanted, with the changes of hormones in the body, the breast expands accordingly, such as the increase of breast tissue and fat reserves. After breast expansion, it is easy to relax if the care is not good. Therefore, if you want to keep your breasts from deforming after delivery, you should pay attention to breast maintenance and nursing from the time of pregnancy, support your breasts with a broadband bra, pay attention to massage or use special oil locally to increase the elasticity of skin and subcutaneous tissue, which will reduce the possibility of breast deformation.

Fourth, breast-feeding makes nipple pain unbearable

Many mothers don't want to breastfeed because the baby's colostrum is difficult to suck, which is usually caused by two reasons:

(1) Incorrect breast-feeding methods for newborns

(2) Because of the mother's incorrect breastfeeding posture. As long as the baby adopts the correct breastfeeding method and the mother adopts the correct breastfeeding posture, it can be solved.

5. Good formula is better than breast milk.

Many advertised milk powder babies grow strong, so some people mistakenly think that breast-fed babies grow slowly, while babies who drink formula milk powder or fortified milk powder grow fast and grow strong. In fact, simple formula feeding will make the baby overnourished, destroy the balance of metabolism, and make the baby face more health problems in the future life.

Sixth, you can't insist on going to work.

Many mothers need to work, so at the end of maternity leave, they began to try to get their babies out of breast milk and eat milk powder instead, which is very unfair to them. Is work and breastfeeding really irreconcilable contradictions? The key to solve this difficulty lies in whether mothers can find a solution that suits them.

As long as working mothers have the right methods, they can continue breastfeeding until their children are one year old or even longer. This method is to squeeze out breast milk and store it correctly.

Seven, breast milk is not enough, and the baby is not full.

What many people don't understand is that breast-fed children can still eat 50 to 100 ml of milk powder even if they are full of breast milk. This doesn't mean that they are still hungry, but it is a nature of newborns. Some children are quiet after eating milk powder, and their families mistakenly think that this is because breast milk is not full and milk powder is full. In fact, children just need extra sucking, and milk powder only meets this sucking requirement, so children are quiet, and children don't really need these extra calories. The most satisfying thing is mom's nipples.
