Yang deficiency is the most basic pathogenesis of "winter disease". "A man with yang qi will lose his life if he is in the sky and the sun, but he will not show his strength." Yang has many functions, such as warming the whole body tissue, maintaining the function of viscera, resisting the invasion of external evils, presiding over the opening and closing of qi, and maintaining the balance of yin and yang, so Yang plays a leading role in the process of life. Yang Qi deficiency will lead to the weakening and decline of physiological activities, which will lead to the decline of the body's ability to keep out the cold.
There are many ways to treat winter diseases in summer, including sticking therapy, moxibustion therapy, acupuncture therapy, cupping therapy, massage therapy, as well as oral Chinese medicines and foods that warm and tonify yang.
Sticking therapy
Sticking therapy, also known as external application therapy, is the most common method to treat winter diseases in summer. Grinding pungent Chinese herbal medicines into fine powder, mixing with various media (such as ginger juice and brown sugar) into paste or pill, and applying it to acupoints is one of the external treatment methods of traditional Chinese medicine. Sticking therapy can make the drug power directly reach the focus, and it can also make the drug property pass through the fur from the outside to the inside and along the meridians to the zang-fu organs, thus regulating the qi, blood, yin and yang of the zang-fu organs, thus playing a role in treating diseases.
Modern research shows that sticking therapy can stimulate the nerve terminal receptors of the skin through the nervous system and form new reflexes, thus stimulating the regulatory function of the body, improving immune function and strengthening physical fitness.
Moxibustion
Moxibustion is a pure natural therapy combining physics and pharmacology. Folium Artemisiae Argyi is a shrub herb of Compositae. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that Folium Artemisiae Argyi tastes bitter and pungent, and can pass through the twelve meridians. "Compendium of Materia Medica" says "Folium Artemisiae Argyi can moxibustion all diseases." Studies have proved that Folium Artemisiae Argyi can activate qi and blood, warm meridians and dredge collaterals, improve immunity, and have antibacterial and antiviral effects. "Introduction to Medicine Needle" states: "If medicine is insufficient, the needle cannot reach it, it must be moxibustion." Moxibustion stimulates acupoints by warming qi, balances yin and yang, recuperates viscera, warms Du meridian and eliminates pathogenic factors, thus achieving the effect of treating diseases.
Moxibustion, also known as long snake moxibustion, is a common moxibustion method for treating winter diseases in summer. It is a therapeutic method that applies drugs such as ginger to the back spine of human body and regulates human function by burning moxa. This method integrates the three effects of moxibustion, acupoint and medicine, and can apply moxibustion to the back Du meridian as a whole or in stages, with wide coverage and sufficient internal heat, which has the advantages of warming and strengthening the body and can effectively improve the patient's low immunity.
Acupuncture and cupping
Acupuncture and cupping are often used to treat leg cold, knee joint cold pain, back pain, shoulder pain and so on. Acupuncture, moxibustion and cupping. It can be applied at the same time with local acupoint application, which can prevent the onset of cold legs in winter.
Oral Chinese medicine
"People who are yang will lose their lives if the sky and the sun lose their positions." Yang has many functions, such as warming the whole body tissues, maintaining the function of viscera, resisting the invasion of external evils, presiding over the opening and closing of qi, and maintaining the balance of yin and yang, so Yang plays a leading role in the process of life. Yang Qi deficiency will lead to the weakening and decline of physiological activities, which will lead to the decline of the body's ability to keep out the cold. Oral administration of traditional Chinese medicine can play a role in strengthening the body resistance and strengthening yang.
Oral administration of traditional Chinese medicine is suitable for patients with chronic diseases, and doctors need to treat different patients according to syndrome differentiation. For example, patients with chronic cough and asthma will suffer from spleen and kidney deficiency due to long-term illness. Therefore, according to personal circumstances, we can use the methods of invigorating spleen and kidney, resolving phlegm and relieving cough.
"Winter disease" refers to some diseases that are easy to occur or worsen in winter, such as bronchitis, bronchial asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, allergic rhinitis, various joint pains, and the elderly are afraid of cold. It belongs to the disease of spleen and stomach deficiency and cold in traditional Chinese medicine.

1. Most of the drugs applied are spicy and fragrant, and the skin is hot, congested and even blistered after application. This is a normal phenomenon. If the bubbles are small, apply green ointment and gentian purple locally to prevent skin infection. If the blister is large, use a sterile syringe to pump out the liquid in the blister, and pay attention to protect the wound surface to avoid scratching and causing infection.
2. Try to reduce the activity after taking the medicine, so as to avoid the premature shedding of the medicine and affect the curative effect. After removing the ointment, redness, itching, slight pain, pigmentation, slight blisters, etc. at the application site are all normal reactions. Don't scratch with your hands to avoid infection.
3. Use irritating products with caution. In summer, the climate is hot, which is easy to hurt yin and body fluids, while pungent, fragrant and dry products are easy to cause dryness and heat overflow, which secretly consumes body fluids. Therefore, it is advisable to eat cinnamon, pepper, fennel, mutton and fresh longan or litchi carefully.
4. Avoid taking a lot of cold products. In summer, it is easy to be greedy for cold and drink cold, and eating a lot of cold and cold products is easy to cause yang deficiency, spleen and stomach weakness, and damage the yang of the whole body, from diarrhea, abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting to chronic diseases caused by yang deficiency.
5. Be careful to eat a lot of fat and greasy products. Summer is prone to summer dampness, and the evil of damp heat is easy to invade the human body. Taking a lot of fat and sweet products is easy to cause internal and external damp-heat evil to invade the human body.
6. Avoid excessive exercise. Excessive exercise and excessive sweating lead to deficiency of both qi and yin, so it is advisable to sweat a little after exercise.
