The relevant departments at higher levels should also file a case review for the service department.

The party group of Beijing Association for Science and Technology believes that the establishment of service department is a good form for science and technology to serve production, and it must be strongly supported as a new thing. By standardizing and strengthening management, the existing problems have been solved. The service department has improved the financial system and implemented financial disclosure. Comrades in the service department use their spare time to work. In order to accelerate the popularization, application and industrialization of harmonic drive technology achievements, and due to the institutional reform of the Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, the Institute of Harmonic Drive Technology has been transformed. 1On May 8, 1993, on the basis of the former Beijing Institute of Harmonic Drive Technology, scientific and technical personnel raised funds to set up Beijing Ke Mei Harmonic Drive Precision Machinery Company (hereinafter referred to as Ke Mei Company), and jointly established Beijing CMC Ke Mei Harmonic Drive Co., Ltd. Carrying forward the spirit of hard work, tenacious struggle, pioneering and innovative, and winning glory for our country, all the scientific and technical personnel of Ke Mei Company have developed a world-advanced solid lubrication harmonic drive reducer, which has been applied to the solar panel drive mechanism and spacecraft positioning radar antenna drive mechanism of manned spacecraft, including Shenzhou VII series, and successfully completed the manned space flight mission.

China scientists and technicians also applied harmonic drive technology to meteorological satellites, communication satellites, reconnaissance satellites, navigation satellites, satellite chains, space stations and other models, which became the key supporting components in space vehicles.
