The future trend of medical and health industry in China.

With the continuous improvement of national economic level, people's requirements for medical health are getting higher and higher. The medical and health reform has encountered a "bottleneck", that is, the fierce conflict between the rigidity of the medical and health system and the diversification of people's health requirements. It is urgent to comprehensively reform the health service. The author believes that the future development of medical and health industry will form five major trends.

First, the joint-stock reform of hospitals and the construction of community health institutions are equally important. Ensuring national health depends on mechanism and financial resources, but the current mechanism is inflexible and financial resources are insufficient, mainly in the following aspects:

1, hospital construction depends on patients. More than 90% of the outpatient and inpatient buildings in hospitals all over the country are built by bank loans, and the responsibility for repaying loans is entirely borne by patients. Patients pay for public hospital employees and become "quasi-shareholders" of the hospital. Public hospital employees become the only beneficiaries of the continuous expansion of the hospital, but the burden on patients is increasing year by year. The hospital is also called "non-profit".

2. "Public hospitals" are kept by patients. In fact, the hospital has long been non-public. More than 90% of the salaries and bonuses of employees in public hospitals nationwide are paid by hospital profits, not financial allocations. Their nature is not fundamentally different from that of western private hospitals. Patients have been suffering from "high medical expenses" for many years, while employees in public hospitals have been shouting "poverty" and "oppression" for many years. This contradiction has not been solved so far.

3. At present, the core of China's basic medical insurance system is "take it from the people, use it for the people, and live within our means". The actual medical expenses paid are not much, and its essence is not much different from that of commercial medical insurance. In the long run, the amount of medical insurance premiums paid by ordinary people will be higher and higher, and finally there may be no willingness to "buy"; It is in line with the characteristics of socialism to establish a health system with taxes as the main source of payment for basic medical care.

4. Strengthening the construction of community health institutions and direct financial input into the service system are effective ways to reduce the cost of medical services for ordinary people.

5. It is an effective way to reform more than 70% of the existing public hospitals, and use the funds subscribed for public hospitals to supplement the medical insurance fund, and the joint-stock hospitals are invested in the medical insurance fund as special taxes of for-profit hospitals. Joint-stock reform of public hospitals is imperative.

Second, the competition between medical institutions and doctors is more obvious. Without pressure and competition, it is impossible to provide high-quality medical services. But at present, the effect of high-quality resources is not excellent. It is "high consumption" and "extreme waste" to meet the basic medical service with the resources of tertiary hospitals, which is extremely inconsistent with the current national strength.

1. In the future medical industry, more medical institutions will not rely on the signboard of "People's Hospital" for food, but rely on technology and services to ensure their competitive advantage. Every competitor needs a promotion platform to maintain its own advantages, and the emergence of medical intellectuals just caters to this demand.

2. At present, there are two forms of doctors' labor remuneration: one is to do a good job, and the other is to take kickbacks and receive red envelopes to reflect the value. In fact, as far as doctors are concerned, they are not willing to do so. In the future, with the emergence of more joint-stock hospitals, doctors will really practice more and doctors will have more practice options. Doctors can realize their own value in two ways: first, become well-known doctors and open their prices; The other is to see more patients and serve more patients. If doctors want to do this quickly, they must rely on a rapid promotion platform that ordinary people are willing to accept, and boasting is obviously not the best way.

Third, there is a relative surplus of medical human resources.

In recent years, with the rapid development of the medical industry, the demand for human resources in medical institutions will enter a slow period, while the number of graduates from medical colleges is increasing. Now, it seems that medical students who have just graduated have few other choices except taking the postgraduate entrance examination and choosing to go to community health institutions (the number of medical representatives is also surplus because of the policy crackdown), and services outside the hospital and medical and health consultation will gradually rise, and medical consultation will become a popular choice for medical students in this industry.

Fourth, due to the current low integrity of the medical and health care industry, the medical and health consulting industry will become more and more popular with the public, and this industry may experience explosive growth.

1. People are increasingly questioning the integrity of the medical, health and health care industries. There are not many channels for people to understand these industries. At present, the main channels they can understand are ① books: purchasing and consulting are time-consuming and difficult to understand; ② Network service: influenced by time, place and crowd, the service efficiency is low and the authenticity is mixed; (3) Newspapers and magazines: lack of personal pertinence and poor timeliness.

2. People increasingly need fast, fair (credible) and high-quality information consultation in the fields of medical care, public health (public health, food hygiene) and health care, but at present this demand cannot be satisfactorily guaranteed, and there is no platform to provide efficient, high-quality and fair medical information consultation services. The emergence of medical intellectuals will change this situation.

3. Due to the further disintegration of the family and the narrowing of the environment for making friends, it is difficult for people to make friends with people who know medicine, and it is also difficult to obtain traditional health knowledge from parents and relatives, so the younger generation is increasingly eager for medical treatment, health care and health consultation platforms.

4. Characteristics of the future medical and health consultation industry: Due to the enhancement of people's health awareness, the demand for food safety, individual health care and public health care is getting stronger and stronger, which means that the scope of people's health consultation will be wider and the content will be more common.

Five, medical and health consulting industry will become the fastest growing industry in the future medical and health field.

In order to promote the development of this industry, we should first actively promote the certification of medical consultants, and promote the establishment of medical consultant industry through the certification system of medical consultants in relevant government departments. With the emergence of medical consultant profession, it will promote the development of the industry; With the development of the industry, it will really form an industry. At some time in the future, in order to separate management from management, the national health administrative department entrusts matters related to medical dispute mediation and medical accident appraisal to a third party, and the medical and health consulting industry is likely to obtain the right to mediate medical disputes and organize medical accident appraisal. On the premise that the medical consulting industry is recognized by the government, the medical consulting industry (commonly known as the tertiary industry in the medical field) will surely usher in a good opportunity of vigorous development, and the era of having health consultants (private medical consultants) for everyone in China has arrived.
