How is the embryo grade of IVF graded?

Different embryologists may have different grading systems for 1-3, but they mainly consider the number of blastomeres or cells, the size of blastomeres and the degree of cytoplasmic fragmentation every day. Even blastomeres of different sizes and the smallest fragments mean that the quality of embryos is better.

The blastocyst on the fifth day. Generally speaking, blastocysts are classified according to their swelling degree, hatching state, development of inner cell mass (ICM) and formation of vegetative ectoderm. Complete blastocysts with dense ICM and vegetative ectoderm form viscous epithelium with many healthy cells, which is usually considered as a good transplant candidate.
