Changsha Institute of Social Work (hereinafter referred to as Changsha Civil Affairs College) is located in Changsha City, Hunan Province. It is a university directly under the Hunan Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Civil Affairs.
It is the first batch of national demonstrative higher vocational colleges and the national high-quality specialized higher vocational colleges recognized by the Ministry of Education. It is the first round construction unit of the national "double high plan" and the first batch of modern apprenticeship pilot units in China.
In 2020, school and enterprise jointly established three secondary industrial colleges, an affiliated hospital with Lianyuan People's Hospital, Alibaba Digital Trade Industrial College with Alibaba and Hangzhou Saiqun, jointly launched the "1+6+3" cross-border e-commerce modern apprenticeship "Lingying Class" talent training project, and cooperated with Hunan Jinye Yewei, the first batch of enterprises integrating production and education in Hunan Province.
Cooperate with Hunan Disabled Persons' Federation to train rehabilitation talents for the disabled 199 people. Cooperate with Huaxing Optoelectronic, LG and Lance Technology to train professionals in electronic and electrical engineering, mechatronics and intelligent control 102. The school has established and actually operated three vocational education groups, namely, China Funeral Vocational Education Group, Hunan Health Care Vocational Education Group and China Disabled Rehabilitation Alliance, and signed counterpart cooperation agreements with Turpan Vocational and Technical College, Tibet Vocational and Technical College and Hotan Vocational and Technical College to aid Xinjiang.
