1, WHO calculation method
Male: (height cm-80) × 70 = standard weight Female: (height cm-70) × 60 = standard weight.
Standard weight plus or minus 10% is normal weight.
2. Different age algorithms
Standard weight method
Standard weight (kg) = age x 2+8 (7- 16 years old)
3. Simple calculation method
Calculation method 1:
Standard weight = height (m) × height (m) × standard coefficient (female 20, male 22)
Standard weight plus or minus 10% is normal weight.
Calculation method 2:
Standard weight (kg) = height (cm)-105
For example, a man with a height of 170cm should weigh170 (cm)-105 = 65 (kg). Those who exceed the standard weight 10% are overweight, and those who exceed 20% are obese; Under 0/0% of standard weight/kloc, those below 20% are thin.
Note: The above calculation method is only applicable to adults. Not suitable for children, old people or people who are too short.
