The first semester:
Primary school: all grades of primary school start on August 28th, 2023, and have a holiday on June 5438+ 10/3, with a full semester of 20 weeks. Junior high school: Grade 7 and Grade 8 start school on August 28th, 2023, and have a holiday on June 5438+ 10/3, 2024, for a whole semester. The ninth grade starts on August 2, 20231and has a holiday on October 20, 2024/KLOC-0. The whole semester lasts ***22 weeks.
Senior high school (ordinary senior high school, secondary vocational school): Grade one and grade two of senior high school start on August 2, 20231day, and have a holiday on October 20, 2024. The whole semester lasts for 22 weeks. Senior three starts on August 7, 2023 and has a holiday on February 3, 2024. The whole semester is 26 weeks.
Second semester: primary school: all grades of primary school start on February 26th, 2024, and have a holiday on July 13. The whole semester lasts ***20 weeks. Junior high school: Grade 7 and Grade 8 start school on February 26th, 2024, and have a holiday on July 13. The whole semester lasts ***20 weeks. The ninth grade starts on February 26th, 2024.
Senior high school (ordinary senior high school, secondary vocational school): The first and second grades of senior high school start on February 26th, 2024, and have a holiday on July 20th. The whole semester lasts ***2 1 week. On February 19, 2024, the third year of senior high school began classes.
Second, the relevant requirements
(a) counties and urban areas and the majority of primary and secondary schools should strictly implement the "school calendar" arrangement, and start school and have holidays at the specified time. Without the consent of the Municipal Education Bureau, it is not allowed to start school or have a holiday in advance or later.
(two) the primary and secondary schools should carry out education and teaching activities in strict accordance with the "school calendar", and shall not arbitrarily increase or decrease the teaching time, and shall not arbitrarily advance or postpone the teaching progress. Compulsory education schools should implement the "double reduction" policy, scientifically formulate school schedules according to the school calendar, improve the quality of classroom teaching, reduce the excessive workload and promote the healthy growth of primary and secondary school students.
(III) Education and Sports Bureaus of counties and cities should regularly conduct special inspections on the implementation of school calendars and the progress of class hours within their respective jurisdictions, take strict implementation of school calendars as an important part of standardizing school-running behavior, take school calendars as the basic basis, promptly investigate and deal with behaviors such as attending classes in advance and making up lessons in violation of regulations, effectively reduce the academic burden of students, and ensure that all work is implemented.
The city's kindergartens arrange all the work with reference to the start and holiday time of primary schools; Special education schools arrange their work according to the learning cycle and the time of ordinary primary and secondary schools.
