According to the needs of the development of preventive medicine and public health in China and the requirements of the national qualification examination of preventive medicine practitioners, students majoring in this major mainly study the theoretical knowledge of basic medicine, clinical medicine and preventive medicine, obtain technical training in health detection, disease control and health-related social behavior intervention, have the ability to engage in disease prevention, implement health supervision and monitoring, improve environmental sanitation conditions and improve people's health-related behaviors, and can pass the national qualification examination of preventive medicine practitioners. The teaching and research section of pharmaceutical enterprise management was formerly the teaching and research section of pharmaceutical enterprise management of the former law department of the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences of West China University of Medical Sciences.
