Professional training objectives

This major trains senior professionals who meet the needs of China's socialist modernization, develop morally, intellectually, physically and aesthetically, master the basic theories and skills of modern basic medicine, clinical medicine and preventive medicine, and obtain the qualification of national preventive medicine practitioners.

Professional training requirements

According to the needs of the development of preventive medicine and public health in China and the requirements of the national qualification examination of preventive medicine practitioners, students majoring in this major mainly study the theoretical knowledge of basic medicine, clinical medicine and preventive medicine, obtain technical training in health detection, disease control and health-related social behavior intervention, have the ability to engage in disease prevention, implement health supervision and monitoring, improve environmental sanitation conditions and improve people's health-related behaviors, and can pass the national qualification examination of preventive medicine practitioners. Graduates should have the following knowledge and abilities:

L, master the theoretical knowledge of basic medicine and clinical medicine, and have the basic diagnosis and treatment ability of common diseases and frequently-occurring diseases;

2. Master the theoretical knowledge of preventive medicine;

3. Have the ability to carry out health inspection and supervision on the environment where people work, study and live and health-related products such as food;

4. Have the ability to analyze various factors affecting people's health and the epidemic law of diseases, and formulate measures and plans to prevent diseases and improve people's health;

5. Have the ability to investigate and analyze people's health-related behaviors and their influencing factors, and be able to design and implement community health service interventions and health promotion/health education interventions;

6, familiar with national health guidelines, policies and health regulations, with the ability to implement health regulations;

7. Mastering a foreign language;

8. Have the ability to use computer office software, statistical analysis tools and computer networks, and be able to conduct literature retrieval;

This major trains senior health inspection professionals who meet the needs of China's socialist modernization, develop morally, intellectually, physically and aesthetically, and have basic theoretical knowledge and practical working ability in preventive medicine and health inspection.

Professional training requirements

Students of this major should master the basic theories and skills of preventive medicine; Basic theoretical and experimental skills in medical biology, hygienic chemistry and hygienic microbiology; Structure and operation technology of various commonly used chemical analysis instruments; Basic theory and experimental skills of health inspection and clinical medical inspection; Have the preliminary scientific research ability of health inspection and clinical medical inspection; Ability to learn, analyze and solve problems independently; Mastering a foreign language basically means mastering the development of this major. Graduates should have the following knowledge and abilities:

1, master the basic theory and knowledge of preventive medicine and health inspection;

2, master the basic ability of health monitoring and supervision of people's labor, life, study, environment and food;

3, master the basic theory and technology of medical chemistry, molecular biology, immunology, pathogen biological diagnosis, understand the basic principle and performance of commonly used modern analytical instruments;

This major trains professionals who have all-round moral, intellectual and physical development, master the knowledge of modern management theories, techniques and methods, and have the ability to use these knowledge, and are engaged in management work in health administrative departments, health institutions and health insurance companies.

Professional training requirements:

Students in this major mainly study the basic theories and knowledge of modern management, receive the training and exercise of general management methods, management quality and management ability, systematically master modern management theories, techniques and methods, be able to engage in public management, and have the ability to plan, coordinate, organize and make decisions:

1, master the basic theories and knowledge of modern management science such as management, health management and health economics;

2 master the basic theories, knowledge and skills of medicine, pharmacy and preventive medicine;

The teaching and research section of pharmaceutical enterprise management was formerly the teaching and research section of pharmaceutical enterprise management of the former law department of the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences of West China University of Medical Sciences. Founded in 1993, 200 1, the department was reorganized and merged into the West China College of Public Health of Sichuan University, and the teaching and research department of pharmaceutical enterprise management was established, which was mainly responsible for the teaching of professional courses of pharmaceutical enterprise management and related courses of health management and health insurance in the College of Public Health. There are 8 in-service teachers in the teaching and research section, including professors 1 person, 3 associate professors, 4 lecturers, 1 person with doctor's degree, and 7 people with master's degree, of which 2 are studying for doctor's degree on the job.

The postgraduate courses of the school include: health administrative law, intellectual property protection of medicine, strategic management of pharmaceutical industry, etc.

The main teaching objects of postgraduate courses are: graduate students in Huaxi Campus and graduate students in the direction of pharmaceutical enterprise management.

Scientific research direction and projects

The research direction of the teaching and research section is mainly to explore the operation law, development conditions, contingency strategies, resource advantages and operation skills of the pharmaceutical economy under the new situation, with emphasis on two aspects: ① Research on the sustainable development of the pharmaceutical economy. This paper mainly studies the environmental changes and strategic changes of pharmaceutical economy after China's entry into WTO and the reform of medical system, including the impact on pharmaceutical enterprises, pharmaceutical market and medical care market, and studies the sustainable development strategy under the influence. ② Research on the development and industrialization of western medicine resources. Because the western region is rich in natural medicine resources, the development of Chinese medicine industry in the western region has outstanding resource advantages.
