If you can save a dog's life, many owners will not complain even if they spend more money, but sometimes it is beyond their power. Some owners will choose happiness for their dogs, because the chances of treatment are slim and it is not far from seeing their pain. However, many owners will wonder, is there really no pain when the dog is happy? Then let's talk about some ways and characteristics of happiness.
I. Saturated magnesium sulfate
The concentration of magnesium sulfate is 40g/ 100ml, and the dosage of magnesium sulfate is 1ml/kg body weight, so you can die quickly without struggling. This is because magnesium ions can inhibit the rapid loss of consciousness in the central nervous system, directly inhibit the respiratory and vascular movement centers in the medulla oblongata, and block the conduction between peripheral nerves and skeletal muscle to delay skeletal muscle.
Second, pentobarbital sodium
Use 5% pentobarbital sodium injection at a dose of 1.5ml/kg body weight, and give it by intravenous injection quickly. When young animals have difficulty in intravenous injection, the same dose can be injected intraperitoneally. The concentration of pentobarbital sodium used abroad is 20%. When the weight is less than 4.5kg, the recommended dosage is 2ml, and each weight increase of 4.5kg is 1ml. The loss of consciousness, respiratory center depression and respiratory arrest caused by deep anesthesia lead to cardiac arrest. During this period, animals will become sleepy and die because of excitement, so the owner need not be nervous.
Third, potassium chloride.
Use 10% potassium chloride for rapid intravenous injection at a dose of 0.3-0.5ml/kg body weight. The increase of potassium ion concentration in blood can lead to bradycardia, conduction block and weakening of myocardial contractility, and finally inhibit the myocardium and make the heart suddenly stop beating and die. But direct injection of potassium chloride is more painful. Therefore, it is usually anesthetized first, and then potassium chloride is used, so that dogs can't feel it.
Fourth, inhalation
? Death box: the concentration of carbon dioxide should be high, at least 40%, preferably 70%. Dogs and cats may be under some pressure from the way carbon dioxide is released and the concentration in the box. Inflating animals before putting them in the box can improve the effect. Especially suitable for cats. When the concentration exceeds 60%, cats lose consciousness within 90s and die within 5 minutes, but this method is rare in China.
