Qingquan Ancient Temple is located in Lingjiu Mountain, Xia Yong Town, Huiyang District, Huizhou City. Qingquan Ancient Temple was founded in Shunzhi period of Qing Dynasty (A.D. 1644), with a history of 370 years. This is a well-known Guanyin Bodhisattva Dojo. Formerly known as Kannonji, he was honored as Guanyin Bodhisattva Dojo. Originally an octagonal pavilion, it was converted into a temple-style building in the second year of the Republic of China (19 13).
In the twenty-fourth year of the Republic of China (1935), there were two clear springs from different sources on both sides of the temple, which means clear springs are sweet. The clear spring is sweet and delicious, which does not rise in rainy season, does not dry up in dry season, and continues all year round. Therefore, it is named Qingquan Ancient Temple, which is dedicated to Guanyin Bodhisattva in the South China Sea and is one of the main religious shrines in Daya Bay.

The three longan trees planted at the beginning of the establishment of the ancient temple have flourished so far. Surprisingly, the plant on the left does not blossom and bear fruit all the year round, the plant in the middle blooms and bears fruit three times a year, and the plant on the right blooms and bears fruit once a year. This is one of the wonders of qingquan ancient temple, "three flowers and three fruits"! It can be said that everything in the world is magical, and Qingquan Zen Forest is fascinating.
