The standard of mental health

In the previous article, I talked with you about some college students' mental health problems and their countermeasures. How do you judge whether your mind is healthy? What is its standard?

Whenever we measure a person's mental health level, it is far from enough to master its concept, and we need to know the standards of mental health in detail. So, what is psychology as a standard of health? This is a very complicated problem. Psychology is not a fixed state, it is not as obvious as other physiological activities of the body, such as body temperature, pulse, blood pressure and liver function. These are obviously things that can tell people's health status through various physical examinations and comprehensive analysis results. To a great extent, mental health is a state of subjective self-feeling, which is influenced by many factors such as specific times, social groups and specific cultural backgrounds, and is a dynamic process of constant adjustment, change, development and perfection. Therefore, there is no absolute boundary between mental health and mental unhealthy, and there is no recognized and consistent standard. So different people have different opinions all the time. Everyone has a different view on this.

Campbell, an American scholar, believes that a person with a sound personality and mental health should have the following four characteristics:

China scholar Wang Xiaodao put forward the following three principles to judge mental health:

First, the identity of psychology and environment;

He also put forward seven evaluation criteria of mental health level, namely, adaptability, tolerance, control, consciousness level, social communication ability, rehabilitation ability, and moral pleasure is better than moral pain.

Ma Jianqing, a scholar, investigated the clinical manifestations in 1992 and put forward the following seven basic standards about mental health: ① Normal intelligence.

All landowners conform to the characteristics of the times.

Taiwan Province scholar Huang's standard is:

First, I am willing to work, and I can give full play to my wisdom and ability in my work to achieve success and satisfaction;

Second, I am willing to communicate with people and establish good relations. There are often more positive attitudes than negative ones.

Third, we should have a proper understanding of ourselves and an acceptable attitude;

Fourthly, we should be able to have good contact with the environment and use effective methods to solve the problems we encounter.

These are the mental health standards put forward by famous scientists.

My standard is to be able to interact and get along with people normally. In daily life, work and study, I should not be too pessimistic or too optimistic, but I should always keep a positive attitude.
