Curriculum design of mental health in primary schools

Happy, life can be better.

-Talking about mental health education for primary school students

With the rapid development of society, the atmosphere of competition is full of the whole social group, and children are gradually growing up in this environment. They are facing the pressure of entering a higher school, psychological fragility and even depression. These pressures are like a time bomb, posing a serious threat to children. In addition, primary school is in adolescence, which is a critical period for people's physical and mental development. Therefore, it is very important to attach importance to students' psychological education in the process of primary school teaching.

First, the basic requirements and characteristics of mental health of primary school students

Connotation of mental health of primary school students: Mental health refers to the best functional state that individual psychological activities can achieve within their own and their environment. The basic requirements and characteristics of primary school students' mental health are shown in the following five aspects: ① having stable emotions; ② Harmonious interpersonal relationship; (3) Having various psychological characteristics suitable for age characteristics; ④ Normal intelligence; Good willpower, strong self-control and good adaptability.

Among these five requirements, with the psychological changes of students in youth, there may be emotional fluctuations, difficulties in getting along with classmates, introverted inferiority, lack of will, uncontrollable and other phenomena. So I combine the teaching experience of the class teacher and Chinese teacher to talk about how to prevent or guide students to spend their youth happily and make their lives better.

Second, primary school students' emotional adjustment strategies

The child's face looks like a day in June. It is said that children's emotions are extremely volatile and moody. We can also find that students cry and lose their temper for a little thing. On the surface, these phenomena are caused by students' own emotional problems, but a deeper understanding is often related to family education methods and school teachers.

As school teachers, we don't want students to make noise. In order to prevent or reduce the occurrence of similar situations, we should start from the following aspects.

1 Observe carefully, find students with abnormal emotions and guide them.

There is an old saying: "Know his heart, and then you can save his loss." If you want to know a person, you must know his inner world. As a class teacher, we should have in-depth communication and conversation while discovering students' abnormal emotions. During the conversation, students' inner needs, such as unsatisfactory grades, disharmony among classmates, abnormal family affairs, etc. Highlight key points, prescribe the right medicine, encourage students to adopt a positive attitude, and guide them to know themselves, recognize themselves and even be proud of themselves on the basis of understanding and communication, thus establishing a good mentality.

2. Create conditions to provide students with a beautiful class collective environment.

A good environment often affects a person's mood. Listening to music and taking a walk in the Woods when you are lost can often greatly relieve you. It is also necessary to give students a good class collective environment. Class environment includes objective environment and subjective environment. The objective environment mainly needs clean classrooms and quiet classrooms. Subjective environment means that students live in harmony, have good friendship and respect each other, without ridicule and jealousy.

3 teaching methods, so that students can adjust their emotions and mentality independently.

As a class teacher, you can use class activities or recess to teach students the normal state of mood swings, let students know the harm of mood swings and the serious consequences caused by losing their temper, and let students pay attention to this problem without worrying too much.

Third, cultivate students' self-management ability.

Pupils have some psychological problems, largely because of their young age and lack of self-control and self-management ability. Self-management ability is acquired by students' gradual learning in life behavior, and teachers need to actively guide them to effectively master society. The education and management of students can not be separated from their participation, and the main body of their healthy growth is students, so the enthusiasm of students is particularly important in learning.

As a class teacher, you can choose excellent students as learning models among students. Let students experience life, rationally understand good and evil, actively carry out activities and knowledge contests that students like, advocate students' enthusiasm for participation, and cultivate students' love for life.

In addition, the cultivation of self-management ability needs to give full play to the role of class collective. By means of cooperative learning and group discussion, students can cooperate with their classmates while satisfying autonomous learning, cultivate cooperation and communication, and learn to organize and be managed.

Primary school is a crucial period for a person's development and the formation of good psychological quality. However, the pressure in the real society invisibly affects students and brings some negative effects to them. Students may be confused, so psychological education and counseling can help students dispel all kinds of fog in their growth and guide them to grow up healthily.
