What are the three categories of occupational health examination?

Occupational health examination is divided into preventive health examination, social examination and appraisal examination.

According to the provisions of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Prevention and Control of Occupational Diseases and the Administrative Measures for Occupational Health Surveillance, the employing unit shall carry out health examinations for the workers who are relieved of occupational hazards, including pre-job, on-job, post-job and emergency. According to the relevant provisions of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Prevention and Control of Occupational Diseases, workers engaged in toxic and harmful operations in factories and mines should have regular occupational health examinations.

If it is confirmed by health examination that there are occupational contraindications, the employing unit shall change jobs for the workers to ensure that they are no longer exposed to the poisons they are forbidden to contact; Suspected occupational diseases should be diagnosed in institutions with occupational disease diagnosis qualifications.

Some abnormal results were found after physical examination, some of which were related to occupation. The medical examination institution will issue a suggestion, and the employer should review the results on time and return to the medical examination institution according to the suggestion of the medical examination institution to determine whether the medical examination personnel are occupational contraindications or suspected occupational patients.

If it has nothing to do with the harmful factors of occupational exposure, the employer should also inform the medical examiner in time according to the tips of the medical examination institution so that they can get timely treatment. At the same time, medical institutions and employers have the obligation to protect the privacy of medical examinees.
