A Jing is a waitress at Burlington Cafe in Shenzhen Railway Station.
One afternoon, a scholar-like young man walked into a coffee shop, sat down in a corner and ordered a cup of royal coffee.
He sat there, spread out a piece of paper, stopped writing, and looked up at the ceiling from time to time.
A Jing was curious and asked, "What are you writing, sir?"
The man looked up and said, "Oh, I'm thinking about a book."
"What book is it?" Jing asked again.
"It's a book about psychological counseling." The man replied.

Writing this book is my dream of studying psychological counseling.
Because I'm tired of using empty and abstract terms to explain the principle of psychological counseling. I am eager to write an easy-to-understand book to show the goals and principles of psychological counseling with fascinating plots. In other words, I want to write a book that anyone who knows nothing about psychological counseling wants to read and can understand, so as to reward both refined and popular tastes, suitable for all ages.
So, how do you write it? I fell into endless thinking.
At this time, I happened to meet Jing and had the above dialogue.
I chewed carefully what Jing said: not boring, not telling the truth, literary and artistic, and related to love. In fact, Jing's vernacular Chinese is not the reading orientation of ordinary people!
I felt my mind suddenly enlightened and began to write this book.
The book "Feeling of Ascension" records 10 consulting cases that I handled during my internship in the psychological counseling center of Harvard University. In order to protect the privacy of the parties, I made some appropriate adjustments and treatments in the name and plot. But I didn't make up a story. After all, I am not a novelist. I just described the development of each case with a plot according to my initial consultation notes.
At the same time, in order to facilitate the thinking and discussion of readers and professionals, I have added case analysis at the back of each story. The nature, characteristics, consultation strategy and operation method of this case were discussed in detail. After all, psychology is a highly specialized science, and psychological counseling is a profession that needs professional training.
In my writing, I also added some feelings and experiences of studying in the United States for eight years, and made some comments on some contents, vocabulary and psychological terms to enhance readers' understanding.
In order to increase everyone's reading interest and knowledge range, I added a little knowledge of psychology or psychological counseling at the end of each case analysis.
