It has many different names, such as Big Ronnie with a thousand hands and eyes, Bodhisattva with a thousand hands and eyes, Big Ronnie with a big heart, Big Ronnie with a big heart, that is to say, the fundamental mantra of Bodhisattva with a thousand hands and eyes to prove merit.
As the Buddha said to Ananda in "A Thousand Hands and Thousand Eyes", "If it is a divine spell, there are various names. A dzogchen, a great sorrow, a liberated Dalagni, a life-prolonging Dalagni, a selfless Dalagni, an evil broken Dalagni, a full-fledged Dalagni, a free Dalagni and a faster Dalagni ". Generally speaking, however, the detailed name of this mantra is "Mercy Mantra".

Perfection shows great compassion, and great compassion shines on the dharma world, without any omission, so it is called perfection and prajnaparamita.
Clarity, showing the wonderful use of compassion, compassion is used in all dharma circles, all dharma are unknown, all dharma are inaccessible, and there is no obstacle in every situation, so it is clear and prajna.
Avalokitesvara's compassion has the characteristics of "wide", "complete" and "clear". And this Dalagni is from the heart of great compassion. It always abides by all laws and protects all sentient beings.

The Great Compassion Mantra comes from the Thousand Hands and Thousand Eyes Avalokitesvara Tripitaka. According to this record, the Buddha was in the solemn Dojo of the Guanyin Bodhisattva Buduojia Mountain Treasure, together with all the three-time Ba Shen. Avalokitesvara magnified the lamp, and the ten temples were all golden. She crossed her hands and said, "I have a great compassion mantra. Now I want to say it. " . Why do you say that? "For all sentient beings, in addition to all death, longevity and wealth, in addition to all bad karma and felony, avoid all obstacles, increase all virtue and goodness, achieve all good roots and good causes, stay away from all fears and good causes, and quickly satisfy all hopes and good causes." He also said to the Buddha: Dear Buddha, if all sentient beings recite the great compassion mantra and fall into the three evil ways, I will never be right. Except bad and insincere. Visible avalokitesvara said this spell, the purpose is to benefit the world!
Who did avalokitesvara get this spell from? In other words, who proclaimed the great compassion curse for avalokitesvara? The Bodhisattva said: In the past, one billion people gave birth to a Buddha, and the famous King Qian Guang lived in Tathagata, saying "dzogchen has great compassion and prajna" for me ... Since then, I have heard this "great compassion mantra" in the Infinite Buddha Hall and Infinite Meeting.
What merits and benefits did he get from this "great kindness and great compassion"? Bodhisattva said: I first lived in the Tathagata in the King's Sutra of Ganguang. I was just a novice bodhisattva when I heard this "mercy mantra". As soon as I heard this mantra, I immediately surpassed the eighth place.
From this, his heart rejoiced. In order to repay the deep kindness of the Buddha, he made a big wish, saying, "If I come to the one who can benefit and comfort all sentient beings, I will immediately have Qian Qian's hands and feet." A late wish is enough. Six kinds of vibrations, the buddhas glow and touch the bodhisattva body, without boundaries. Avalokitesvara is very happy and enthusiastic. It is beyond words that she can personally hold this big Rani. Since then, I have often recited it and never forget it. Because he recited the Great Compassion Mantra, the place where he was born was always in front of the Buddha, and the lotus was reborn, and infertility was not hidden ... Guanyin Bodhisattva gained endless benefits from this Great Compassion Mantra, so he couldn't wait to tell us that I hope we can get huge benefits from this mantra as he did.
Bai Buddha said: Buddha, if all beings recite the great compassion mantra and fall into the three evil ways, I will never be enlightened. If I don't give birth to the great compassion mantra, I will never be enlightened. If I can't argue with infinite samadhi, I will never be enlightened. I will recite the great compassion mantra and demand everything in this life. If I don't succeed, I won't be a compassionate Dalagni. Except bad and insincere.
Fourth, merits and demerits
1, recite "Dalagni", the body is twelve hidden:

(2) that is, the light is hidden, and everything is bright; (3) It is compassion, and Dalagni is always used to save all beings; (4) Collecting all the secrets of Dalagni is a wonderful method; (5) it is meditation and concealment, and the ever-changing samadhi often appears in the past; (6) Being hidden in the void often leads to the death of the empty audience; (7) It hides fearlessly, and the dragon god will always protect it; (8) It is a punch line, and the Dalagni sound in the mouth is not truncated; (9) it is a permanent residence in Tibet, and three disasters and evil robberies cannot be bad; (10) Just go to Tibet. You can't miss it because of your heresy. (1 1) is a collection of drug kings, and Dalagni is often used to treat all dead beings; (12) is a magical treasure. It's really comfortable to visit the Buddhist country. It can be seen that this mantra is worthy of praise.

" "If you recite, walk on the road and blow this person's hair and clothes when the wind comes. The residual wind has passed through all kinds of sentient beings, and those who are blown by the wind will be destroyed and will never get the retribution of the three evils and live in front of the Buddha forever. "These people can get this benefit from us, not to mention the people we accept. Ford's reward is incredible!
8. We recite the great compassion mantra with a pure heart, which is an infinite function. Even if we occasionally get upset and say something inferior to Buddhism, whether it is good or evil, good or bad, it sounds like pure Buddhism to all beings in heaven and supernatural beings. "All respectful, like Buddha"!
9. If you can be persuaded and hold this mantra, you can get unlimited benefits. For example, at the end of your life, all ten Buddhas come to help; Don't fall into three evil ways; Buddha country; Get boundless samadhi eloquence; Now in life, everything you want has come true; Turn women into men; Eliminate felony violation of permanent residence.
In a word, the power of the great compassion mantra is so incredible. The Buddha sighed: "Dalagni's power is incredible, incredible and inexhaustible." The Buddha used two incredible words to describe the unpredictable power of Dalagni. Besides, we are ignorant ordinary people, and we will not measure anything. However, as long as we recite it sincerely, all sins will be eliminated naturally, all evils will be eliminated naturally, and all requirements will be realized.

Anyone who recites incantations, regardless of killing officials and scholars, men and women, old and young, monks and nuns, should observe precepts, be loyal to the monarch, be filial to adoptive parents, not kill or steal, not commit adultery, not hate, not be arrogant or deceitful, not be malicious, respect is a curse, respect faith, get the most treasure, and naturally have whatever you want.
Anyone who holds a spell will recite the scriptures first. May I know all the laws quickly. Then read ten bodhisattvas without great compassion and ten amitabha without mercy. I want something. That is, I want to see a hand in the picture. I want to carry it to my heart. I sincerely pray. Everyone responded.
First, people who recite the scriptures must keep the temple, set up altars widely, give alms and offerings, clean their bodies and minds, burn incense and knock on the door, so as to be perfect, and then they can recite the scriptures in a quiet room at home, sweep the house strictly, burn incense and offerings, or if they can't, they just look up to heaven and recite the scriptures every day, but they must be sincere and complacent, and even ride on a horse.
Anyone who recites a mantra should understand what the scripture says, publicize and spread it, and don't order two sentences to be cut off, printed, copied or dictated, so that this mantra can be widely circulated and have boundless merits.
A person who holds this wonderful Darani must have supported the Buddhas in the past, planted good roots widely and won confidence. Is a young and virtuous person. It is boundless, and being blessed is incredible. However, he was diligent at the beginning and lazy at the end. The yogi is jealous. He has no confidence. His evil life is deeper. Even if he is cursed by dark clouds, he will not be destroyed. What's more, he is willing to be a comrade and a good friend.

According to the requirements of this sutra, those who recite this mantra also have provisions: spread the great bodhicitta of all beings; Fasting; Treat all beings equally; Keep reciting this mantra. And requirements: live in a clean room, wash clothes, hang banners and burn lights, eat fragrant flowers and various flavors, support avalokitesvara, and then concentrate on peace of mind, such as chanting Buddha. This rule is etiquette. If you can take Buddhism as an instrument, of course it is best, otherwise, you should at least recite this mantra respectfully and intently. If you can respect and focus, you can realize all your wishes.

The appearance of this mantra is great compassion, equality, inaction, indifference, emptiness, respect, modesty, chaos, ignorance and supreme bodhicitta.

The curse of mercy is incredible. However, if we can't adhere to the law, we will not only get huge benefits, but also suffer disasters. This is not an alarmist. Pedestrians often say that the scriptures say that this mantra is like boundless merits and interests, and that mantra is like boundless merits and interests. Why did I recite it so many times and for so long, but it didn't work? Is what is said in the scripture untrue? Is the Buddha talking nonsense? Don't! There are many reasons for this, and the most important point is that it has not been observed as a law. "The Combination of Two Courses" said: "Those who recite Taoist customs but have no effect are insincere and slander without warning. Or false words, or poor rhyme, or drinking meat, or omnivorous meat, or filthy tentacles, or saying common sayings, or dirty clothes, or being lax, eight kinds of laws and precepts make ghosts and gods convenient and suffer! " This shows that the importance of adhering to the law cannot be ignored by practitioners!
So what do you need to do to recite the great compassion mantra in order to be as good as Dharma? The scripture says: If a bhikkhu, a bhikkhu, a Youposai, a Youpoyi, a boy or a girl wants to recite the Great Mercy Mantra, the first prerequisite is that when you are merciful to all beings, you should first make such a wish with Guanyin Bodhisattva:
"There is no great sorrow in the south. I wish I could know all the methods quickly.
There is no great sorrow in the south. May I gain wisdom as soon as possible.
There is no great sorrow in the south. Can I speed up everyone?
There is no great sorrow in the south. I wish it would be convenient for me early.
There is no great sorrow in the south. May I take the Prajna boat as soon as possible.
There is no compassion in the south, and the sooner we hope to get there, the worse it will be.
There is no compassion in the south, I hope I can get rid of it soon.
There is no great sorrow in the south. I hope I can climb Nirvana Mountain early.
There is no compassion in the south, and I hope to do nothing as soon as possible.
There is no great sorrow in the south. I wish I could be like Dharma.
If I go to that mountain, it will destroy itself.
If I make fire soup, it will go out by itself.
If I go to hell, hell will dry up on its own.
If I am hungry, hungry people will be full.
If I ask Shula, I will feel sick.
If I am proud of the wisdom of animals. "
After making the vows, then read the name of Guanyin to your heart, and also read the name of Amitabha, because Amitabha is the teacher of Guanyin. Then you can recite the great compassion mantra. Here, the importance of great vows is emphasized, which is clearly explained in another place in this scripture: Guanyin said: "If you are kind to men and women, those who recite this mantra will have great bodhicitta and swear to all sentient beings. Fasting makes all beings equal. Read this mantra often and don't cut it off. "
It can be seen from this that the purpose of chanting the mantra of great compassion is not only for our own interests, but also for the benefit of all sentient beings! Send bodhicitta for all sentient beings and hold this great compassion mantra for all sentient beings! We pedestrians are Mahayana travelers who have developed bodhicitta. While doing good deeds such as chanting, holding spells and worshipping, we must first correct our mentality and ask ourselves: What is my intention in doing this good dharma? In the "Thousand Hands and Thousand Eyes Guanyin Tripitaka", avalokitesvara clearly tells us that if we want to recite the Great Compassion Mantra, we must send great bodhicitta.
After bodhicitta was born, she should "live in a clean room, take a clean bath and wear clean clothes." Hanging banners and burning lamps, delicious, colorful and varied diets, in order to feed them. If you have the heart, it will be even different, such as law. "
If you do this, there will be Sun Bodhisattva, Moonlight Bodhisattva and all infinite gods to prove the effect of the Mercy Mantra. And avalokitesvara will see with thousands of eyes and protect with thousands of hands. From then on, "all the classics in the world can be trusted." All heretical spells and Vedic classics can also be understood. It can cure 84,000 diseases in the world, and it can also make all ghosts and gods subdue demons and control pagans. If you meditate while chanting in Shan Ye, and all kinds of mountain gods and ghosts disturb us and make our hearts uneasy, just repeat this mantra, "All ghosts and gods are bound" ... Guanyin Bodhisattva said: If the walker can recite like this and be merciful to all sentient beings, he will do everything.
