2. Tibet's retirement policy in 2022 is that the monthly basic pension is equal to the basic pension plus personal account pension plus plateau subsidy pension. The basic pension is equal to the average monthly salary of employees in Tibet in the previous year plus the average indexed monthly payment salary of the elderly themselves when they retire, divided by twice the accumulated payment period of the elderly, and then multiplied by 1%. The plateau subsidy pension is equal to the average monthly salary of the elderly multiplied by 5% to 15%. After the insured reaches the retirement age stipulated by the autonomous region and goes through the formalities of retirement and receiving the basic pension, the social insurance agency will issue the basic pension on a monthly basis from the next month.
