Unconsciously, I have been practicing in obstetrics for nearly four weeks. During the four weeks of obstetric practice, I basically completed the internship task and gained a lot. First, familiar with the environment of hospitals and departments, familiar with the workflow and main tasks of clinical nurses, and familiar with the admission process and nursing of patients. Secondly, under the guidance of the teacher, I have basically mastered the characteristics and nursing care of some common obstetric diseases, such as premature delivery, premature rupture of membranes, pregnancy-induced hypertension syndrome, postpartum hemorrhage, pregnancy complicated with diabetes, etc. And master the usage, adverse reactions and observation points of commonly used obstetric drugs magnesium sulfate and oxytocin.
Third, personally observe and participate in the nursing of pregnant women during childbirth and puerperium, participate in the midwifery process of pregnant women, feel the characteristics of the three stages of labor and the physiological and psychological changes of pregnant women, and focus on explaining the contents and key points of postpartum nursing for 2 hours. Fourthly, I practiced nursing operations such as admission health education, fetal heart auscultation, electronic fetal heart monitoring, uterine contraction palpation, perineal scrubbing, wet and hot compress, abdominal palpation, and breastfeeding guidance. And practiced anal examination, drawing labor chart, scientific delivery, labor analgesia, vaginal incision, vaginal midwifery, neonatal treatment and vaccination, neonatal bathing, etc.
Through continuous clinical observation and study, I have deepened my understanding and memory of book knowledge, such as what is uterine contraction and its characteristics, how to touch uterine contraction and so on. Similarly, I try to apply what I have learned in books to practice. I understand that clinical work is not simple, especially the need for observation, flexibility and experience accumulation. Just come to practice, we should start from bit by bit, observe more, operate more and accumulate more experience.
I feel that internship is a simple and complicated life. I have to learn to do things as well as to be a man. Doing things enriches theory and operation; As a man, it is very important to handle the relationship with colleagues, teachers, head nurses, doctors, patients and their families, especially to establish a good nurse-patient relationship. In obstetrics, it is easier to establish a good nurse-patient relationship with parturient and their families. Through communication with them, we can not only help them solve some problems, but also get satisfaction at work. Learning to communicate with patients is an important part of practice.

In this month of gynecology, I feel that I have gradually become accustomed to the working hours of gynecology and get along well with patients. I really hate to leave now. In retrospect, it's unforgettable. On the first day of reporting on gynecology, I had expectations, excitement and fear. With that mood, I came to this mysterious place. After that, under the guidance of the teaching teacher, we became familiar with the working environment of gynecology, various rules and regulations and the work to be done in each class.
After that, I was lucky enough to be assigned to Teacher Fang. She works patiently, gently and meticulously. I like working with her very much. Practice starts with some basic nursing and then goes to the typical nursing operation of gynecology, and cultivates personal nursing step by step. She patiently taught me to practice routine nursing operations. Let me learn many different operations taught by school teachers. Gradually understand common gynecological diseases such as hysteromyoma, vaginitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, adnexitis, uterine polyp, uterine hypertrophy, endometritis, uterine prolapse, ectopic pregnancy, dysfunctional uterine bleeding, pelvic mass and other gynecological diseases.
I felt the change of nursing practice in gynecological practice and realized the application of holistic nursing in gynecological practice. Teacher Long explained to us: "Holistic nursing is based on nursing procedures, including evaluation, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. It is the most important nursing concept of gynecological nurses to make a systematic, targeted and guiding nursing plan, deepen the concept of humanized service into clinical nursing, and make patients get the best physical and mental state."
