To reduce the content of organic solvent oil and gas in the air of working environment, the most basic thing is to prevent oil and gas from volatilization and diffusion, such as capping, sealing or leaving only necessary feed ports. , and exhaust gas collection equipment shall be provided to avoid being discharged into the environment; If it cannot be sealed due to need, take local exhaust ventilation.
Try to use solvents with low toxicity and low vapor pressure (i.e. non-volatile solvents).
Avoid direct contact with solvents. If necessary, use qualified protective equipment, such as masks, goggles, gloves and safety shoes, and work in an upwind position as far as possible to avoid inhaling organic solvent vapor.
Set up organic solvent operation management, check the workplace more than once a week, and detect the concentration more than once every three months, and keep records.
In storage, transportation, cleaning or construction operations, if it is inevitable to contact the vapor of high concentration and highly toxic solvents, the operators must wear gas masks and equipment.
Inform operators of the effects of organic solvents used on human body, matters needing attention and emergency measures for poisoning, and conduct health examination and management according to the labor hygiene management rules of the Ministry of the Interior.
Please read the relevant regulations of the Ministry of the Interior on the prevention of organic solvent poisoning.
