How to check the quality of SSD?

Tools or raw materials

1, MHDD windows HD Tune Pro (hard disk detection tool) system CD or boot disk are generally available.

2. Computer

Steps:

1. Turn off the computer, connect the hard disk to be tested to the computer, and then boot it into the system or enter the USB flash drive to start the system.

2. Check the test results under the health option of HD Tune Pro. If there are yellow or red options, it means that there is something wrong with the hard disk, which needs further inspection (if other tests are normal, a small number of yellow errors can be ignored).

(Some newly bought hard disks, even if all the data are displayed normally, do not mean that the hard disk must be good, because there is software that can erase these data from the hard disk. )

3. Open HD Tune Pro and select the hard disk to be tested. Click Start to test the reading and writing speed of the hard disk respectively. As shown in the figure below. Generally, the average reading and writing speed of 7200 rpm desktop hard disk is about 130M/S, and the reading and writing speed of 5400 rpm desktop hard disk and 5400 rpm notebook hard disk is about 80m/s. ..

Some notebook hard disks may have a minimum of forty or fifty dollars. If the reading speed is too low, even if the hard disk passes the bad track scan, there is a problem.

4. Turn on error scanning of HD Tune Pro. Here, whether it is a quick scan or a normal scan, you can roughly scan the bad track of the hard disk, and you can see the good or bad situation according to the color. After the test, it shows that there is no bad track. If you are still worried, you can use MHDD for detailed testing.

5. Open the mhdd window, select the hard disk to be tested, and click Start to observe the test results. MHDD generally takes a long time to detect hard disks, but it is more detailed and accurate than HD Tune Pro in detecting bad tracks.

When a large number of color blocks (green and red) appear in the test results, you can directly find after-sales replacement during the warranty period. The bad track scanning test actually only tests the reading speed and writing speed of the hard disk, but does not test it.

If all the above tests pass, the basic hard disk can be used normally, and there is no problem.
