Comparison between chrysanthemum and proctoptosis in normal cats

Normal cat chrysanthemum and proctoptosis are two completely different concepts.

Normal cat chrysanthemum refers to the cat's anus, that is, the part outside the excrement. Under normal circumstances, the skin around the cat's anus should be clean and dry, without any abnormal conditions such as redness and ulceration.

Proctoptosis refers to the protrusion of internal tissues or mucous membranes of the cat's anus, which leads to incomplete anal contraction, redness, swelling and pain around the anus. Rectal prolapse is usually caused by relaxation of anal sphincter, muscle injury around anus or visceral swelling.

Normal chrysanthemum morifolium is characterized by neatness, dryness and no abnormal symptoms. The characteristic of proctoptosis is that the tissues around anus protrude outward, and there are symptoms such as redness, swelling and pain.
