What is an electronic health card?

Electronic health card is a medical and health service card designed by National Health Commission, which is associated with citizen's personal information, ID card, social security card and other information, and is equivalent to a "health ID card" with identity recognition function. An electronic health card is not a physical card, but a two-dimensional code stored in a mobile phone or posted on a medical record book. Citizens don't need to worry about bringing an extra card in their bags or forgetting to bring it. They can show their personal identity in the medical institutions in the whole city, the whole province and even the whole country as long as they scan the exclusive QR code.
