Different users have different needs for the service of physical geological data. Based on the service mode and the needs of service objects, this paper analyzes the service content and service product demand of physical geological data, points out the problems existing in the service demand of physical geological data, and probes into the influencing factors and characteristics of the service demand of physical geological data.

In order to understand the service demand of physical geological data, we conducted a questionnaire survey and expert consultation survey on the socialized service demand of physical geological data from September 2006 to early February 2008.
