Unhealthy language

"dad! Mom! " The baby's vague cry made the parents happy. As new parents, we all want to hear the well-meaning cries of our children. Especially 1-3 years old, when children are most interested in language, parents will certainly respond to their call happily.

However, there are always annoying people who come to the door and hinder children from learning the language smoothly. Among them, language retardation is one of the most common problems in children's development.

It is gratifying that the baby can call mom and dad, but it is impossible for the child to say these two words all day. If a child wants to go to the toilet, call her mother; if a child wants to eat, call her mother; if a child wants to go out to play, call her father; if a child wants to hold high, it will still be her father ... Besides these two titles, why can't a child say something else?

"The child how so stupid! You won't say anything except mom! " Children don't talk not because they don't want to, but because they really don't. Many times, we always impose things that children can't do, saying that children are idiots. This is really unfair.

Think back, when we were young, when we were learning a skill, were we criticized by others? Still rejected because of slow learning? Just as we teach our parents to use mobile phones, they learn nothing. Aren't they also called stupid by us? Language acquisition is more difficult than mobile phones. After all, it takes at least three years to master it completely.

Many children who have completed corrective courses in our institution are much more serious than this. Many of their babies can't even tell their mothers clearly, so they can only express their needs in rows. These children have some * * * similarities, which can also be regarded as * * * similarities of children with language retardation:

My vocabulary is so small that I can't even speak at all.

Excessive saliva and frequent drooling.

Separation anxiety is serious, and parents are not around.

Not understanding parents' instructions gives people the impression of disobedience.

Crying is often difficult to stop.

In addition to these characteristics, some children have difficulty chewing and swallowing because of immature sound organs, and only eat soft and rotten food, and hard food cannot be chewed. Generally speaking, it is really difficult for parents of children with language retardation to raise their children.

In the eyes of many people, language is a skill that children can gradually master in the process of growing up, and there is no need for systematic learning. In fact, this concept is also true for healthy children. As long as parents are not out of line, children can learn by themselves in an ordinary language environment.

Children with language retardation don't want to buy this set. They have been "poisoned" by the bad language environment and lack of language education. Systematic language learning is not completely effective in restoring their language health, let alone the practice that parents give up.

In addition, language retardation can not be detected before the child 1 year, but at least after 18 months. This will easily give many parents an illusion: it is only a temporary problem that children can't talk, and they will always talk when they grow up. But when they wait until the age of hope and find that the child is still like that, they suddenly feel anxious.

Calling mom and dad does not necessarily mean that the child's language development is healthy, and being able to speak does not prove that there is no problem with language expression. Pronunciation and speaking are two different things. Language must have certain social significance to be called language, otherwise it can only be a series of meaningless nonsense.

Every child with language retardation has the possibility of speaking normally, but many accidents in the process of birth or growth make them miss the best period of language learning, which ultimately affects the development of children in all aspects. Language correction can make up for this period of time and help children find a healthy childhood.
