Four famous doctors in ancient China

In my humble opinion, among the three, Zhang Zhongjing has the highest medical skill!

In order to facilitate the summary and introduction, the biographies of the three people are as follows:

Qin Yueren (407 BC-3 BC10), namely, Ji's surname, Qin's surname, Yue's surname and Doctor Lu's name, was once a native of Zheng (now Renqiu, Hebei Province) and Qi (now Changqing, Shandong Province). The famous doctors in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, together with Hua Tuo, Zhang Zhongjing and Li Shizhen, are called the four famous doctors in ancient China, and the originator of traditional Chinese medicine. When Bian Que was young, he studied medicine in Chang Sangjun, and was good at using four methods, namely, observation, hearing and questioning, especially pulse and observation. He is good at internal medicine, surgery, gynecology, pediatrics and facial features, and is famous all over the world. Later, he was killed in Xianyang because he was jealous of Qin doctor Li Yi.

Hua Tuo (Fang Hua, about AD 145-208), a native of Qiaoxian County (now Qiaoqu, Bozhou City, Anhui Province), was a famous doctor at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, and was also called "Jian 'an Three Magical Doctors" with Dong Feng and Zhang Zhongjing. He was one of the four famous doctors in ancient China, and was called "the master of surgery" and "the originator of surgery" by later generations. He was the first doctor in China to perform general anesthesia. Hua tuo has been practicing medicine all over the world all his life and has a good reputation. He has made many achievements in medicine. He is proficient in internal medicine, surgery, gynecology, pediatrics and acupuncture, especially in surgery, and invented the "Leprosy Powder" auxiliary operation. In his later years, he was suspected of opening Cao Cao's skull and removing his brain. He was tortured to death in prison and his medical books were lost.

It is said that Bian Que's medical skills can be brought back to life, with living dead and bones, and his medical skills are like gods; Huatuo can open the skull and break the brain, curettage the bones and cure the poison, and create hemp boiling powder, which deserves to be called the ancestor of surgery and the medical Sect of ten thousand generations. But unfortunately, the skills and medical skills of these two people are vague in the history books; In addition, both of them have no medical records and medical and pharmaceutical classics handed down from generation to generation as evidence, so it seems that the two medical experts are just legends and it is impossible to know the details of their fate!

Moreover, according to the limited historical records, the two spent most of their lives wandering in the rooms of dignitaries and the homes of emperors and generals, and there are not many cases that can be verified to save the country and the people! Therefore, it can be considered that the scope of its treatment objects has been limited to some extent, and the actual experience will certainly be affected!

Zhang Zhongjing, on the other hand, has a clear, accurate and detailed account of the great deeds of this medical sage in the history books, and his words and deeds are well documented. Moreover, Zhang Zhongjing has been wandering among the grassroots for a long time, knowing the hardships of people's livelihood, and has been rushing to cure diseases and save lives in plague-endemic areas for decades. There are countless people alive. He is a rare civilian doctor in history. He only aims at saving lives, regardless of fame and fortune, regardless of gains and losses! Therefore, among the three people, the doctor should have the most cases in his life, and of course his comprehensive diagnosis and treatment experience should also be the richest!

It is reported that Zhang Zhongjing (about 150 ~ 154—— about 2 15~2 19) was born in Nieyang County, Nanyang, Eastern Han Dynasty (now Zhangzhai Village, Gedong Town, dengzhou city City, Henan Province). At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, a famous doctor was honored as a medical sage by later generations, and he was one of the most outstanding physicians in the history of China. His masterpiece Treatise on Febrile Diseases and the established principle of six meridians based on syndrome differentiation and treatment are the basic clinical principles of TCM, the soul of TCM, and the necessary classic works for later scholars to learn TCM.

Therefore, according to the existing historical data, Zhang Yisheng's medical methods, medical skills and medical records are more clear, accurate and detailed, and medical skills are the best of the three!
