The International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers revised in 20 10 (hereinafter referred to as Manila Amendment to STCW Convention) came into effect in 20 12 and 1 0, and the new Rules of Examination and Certification for Seafarers in People's Republic of China (PRC) * * and China came into effect in 2006. To this end, our bureau formulated the Measures for the Administration of Seafarers' Health Certificates in People's Republic of China (PRC), which came into effect on April 1 2065438. In order to fully implement Manila Amendment of STCW Convention and effectively implement domestic rules and relevant management measures, the Requirements for Health Examination of Seagoing Seamen are hereby issued to you, and shall come into force as of 021October 65438+. And notify the relevant matters as follows:
1. From June 2065438 of 12 1 2065438, when registering and applying for a certificate, the health status of seafarers should meet the Requirements for Health Examination of Seafarers (see annex).
2. Since July, 20 13 1 day, seafarers must hold valid health certificates from People's Republic of China (PRC) and China before they can register on the ship, apply for certificates and work.
Three, maritime institutions at all levels should strengthen the publicity of crew training institutions, medical institutions, service institutions and overseas institutions within their respective jurisdictions, strengthen supervision and inspection, and ensure the effective implementation of the "Requirements for Health Examination of Seagoing Seamen".
Four, the new "seafarers' physical examination" national standard is in the process of examination and approval, after the national standard takes effect, it will be implemented according to the national standard.
