Sartorius muscle is a slender thigh muscle that bends the leg and is responsible for lifting, lowering and cross-legged the knee joint.
The average length, width and thickness of sartorius muscle were 529 8.48 mm, 25.30 0.82 mm and 65438 0.5 0.66 mm respectively. The lower part of the sartorius muscle (about 20 cm long) is mainly supplied by the branches of the uppermost knee artery.
Extended data:
Stop form and function of sartorius muscle;
1. location: the anterior medial thigh is shallow, and muscle fibers incline from the upper lateral thigh to the lower medial thigh. It is the longest muscle in the human body and is spindle-shaped.
2. Starting point: anterior superior iliac spine.
3. Stop point: the front edge of the upper tibia.
4. Function: When near fixation, the hip joint is flexed outward and the knee joint is flexed inward. When far fixed, both sides contract, so the pelvis leans forward.
5, innervation: 2-3 femoral nerves.
6. Blood supply: femoral artery, deep femoral artery, lateral femoral circumflex artery and its descending branch, anterior iliac circumflex artery, genicular artery and popliteal artery. There are about 8 branches in stages, and there is an artery at about 7cm, which enters at the inner edge of muscle. Companion vein 1-2 branches.
7. Function: Hip flexion, knee flexion, thigh external rotation abduction and calf internal rotation. The obvious narrow short tendon starts from the bone surface in front and below the anterior superior iliac spine, goes down to the medial surface of femur, passes through the knee joint at the back of the joint motion axis, and turns in front of the knee joint to form a flat thin tendon, mostly above and in front of the gracilis and semitendinosus muscles. * * * The same goose foot stops at the medial surface of the upper tibia. Some of them migrate to the deep fascia in the knee joint capsule and calf.
