Article 8
The supervising agencies for animal health established by the people's governments at or above the county level shall be responsible for the quarantine of animals and animal products and other supervision, management and law enforcement related to animal epidemic prevention in accordance with the provisions of this Law.
Article 13
Animals and animal products sold or transported shall pass the official veterinary quarantine of the local county-level animal health supervision institution and obtain the animal quarantine certificate before leaving the place of origin.
