Foreign family

Mrs Fielding and Mrs Nichols are from Queensland, Australia. Swiss Martin married Japanese wife Hiroko. Now they both live in Shanghai, and they invite domestic helpers from China to help with the housework. During their stay with domestic helpers in China, these foreign friends more or less felt the differences in living habits and lifestyles between China people and foreigners.

Mrs fielding: it's very hot in Queensland, so we pay more attention to the cold storage of food. Basically, raw and cold products are bought as much as you eat, and rarely overnight. I don't think of the refrigerator as a safe, I just put in what I have eaten and what I haven't eaten. I often tell my aunt that raw food and cooked food must be separated to avoid cross-infection of bacteria causing gastrointestinal diseases.

Mrs. Nichols: Because there is little overnight food in the refrigerator, the chances of bacteria breeding are also reduced. In addition, during the SARS period, the personal hygiene awareness of Shanghai residents has been greatly improved. Now that the SARS crisis has passed, this awareness is getting weaker and weaker, and spitting can be seen everywhere in the streets. The continuation of this bad behavior habit will still lead to the prevalence of some diseases.

Hiroko: People in China are used to drying clothes naturally. I still like to use the dryer to dry clothes. In addition, we are used to using laundry detergent instead of washing powder, mainly because washing powder is easy to remain on clothes, and it is not environmentally friendly and hurts clothes. In order to prevent cross-infection of clothes, we will use laundry detergent with sterilization function, which can both sterilize and decontaminate.

Martin: There is one more thing that I think needs to pay attention to-the dishcloths at home should be classified. Dishwashers should wash dishes, and those who wipe furniture can only wipe furniture. Those who wipe the floor should wipe the floor specially, and they should not be confused, let alone wipe a dishcloth everywhere.

Mrs fielding: I teach children to wash their hands frequently from an early age. I think it is most important to cultivate good living habits, which is much more useful than telling them what to do and what not to do in the future. In addition, I often choose a mild and moist disinfectant wet paper towel to wipe my child's bare skin.

Chinese family

Mrs. Zhang: Some practices mentioned by foreign friends may be common in our parents' generation, but our generation still attaches great importance to the concept of hygiene and cleanliness. When it comes to food storage in the refrigerator, I never think of the refrigerator as a safe. A friend of mine once told me that some bacteria can still survive in the low temperature range. Therefore, for food, my husband and I try to buy and eat as much as possible; In addition, we will clean the refrigerator every two weeks, including food cleaning and refrigerator disinfection.

Mrs. Li: Mrs. Zhang is a young man after all. Our family still doesn't pay much attention to the cleanliness of the refrigerator, as if all the family members haven't realized it yet. Put the food you can't finish, and put the fruits and vegetables in. If the cleaning time is too long, it means thawing or something. Wipe the handle with some alcohol cotton at most.

Mr. Zhang: Speaking of disinfection, we used to use some mixed disinfectant to disinfect the refrigerator, which was more troublesome and uneasy, because the disinfectant was more irritating and I don't know if it could be used in the refrigerator. At present, the full-effect cleaning spray of Yishikang refrigerator is used. Specially designed for refrigerator environment, it has three functions of sterilization, deodorization and decontamination. It can remove odor and decontamination at the same time of sterilization in one step, which is convenient and fast. And it can be directly used on fruits and vegetables, which is very safe. When in use, food does not need to be taken out. Now we can clean the refrigerator at any time, which is very easy.

Mrs. Chen: I remember my child had a serious gastrointestinal disease when he was 2 years old. The doctor told me that it may be because of eating spoiled food in the refrigerator, because food is easy to rot in the refrigerator in summer, and the gastrointestinal system of infants and young children is particularly delicate and can't help but be invaded by bacteria. Since then, I always prepare children's food on the same day. If I can't finish it, I'd rather clean it up than put it in the refrigerator to cook the next meal.

Mrs. Tang: My family didn't know the difference between raw food and cooked food before. Later, a friend who is a doctor suggested that I use two sets of kitchen utensils, one for cutting raw food and the other for cutting cooked food. After cutting, I washed it with hot water and washed it separately. Hot water can effectively remove greasy and bacteria, thus avoiding many gastrointestinal diseases.
