In the survey, most college students think that people who go to psychological counseling have three answers: "people with psychological barriers"; "People with emotional adjustment difficulties" and "people with practical difficulties" or "people who want to better develop their potential" A few students think that "people with mental illness" go to psychological counseling.
(3) The mentality of college students seeking psychological counseling is contradictory to some extent, such as the unity of knowledge and practice, being kind to themselves and others. In the survey, the vast majority of college students think it is necessary or necessary to carry out psychological counseling in colleges and universities, but when they encounter psychological confusion and discomfort, about 1/4 clearly expressed their willingness to seek psychological counseling. In contrast, when their classmates, friends or relatives encounter psychological problems, one and a half students will mobilize them to do psychological counseling. When asked, "Who do you usually turn to for help if you encounter psychological difficulties?" College students' answers are "classmates, friends", "self-commitment", "teachers and elders you rely on", "parents", and then "psychological counseling institutions".
(4) College students are more willing to seek psychological counseling than senior college students.
