Carcinogens are graded. What are the primary carcinogens?

Major carcinogen

There are four primary carcinogens: aflatoxin, nitrosamines, dioxins, nicotine and benzopyrene.

Note: Sometimes nitrite such as sodium nitrite (-NO2, an organic substance containing "azo group (N=N)") can also be considered as a primary carcinogen.

1. Aflatoxin (AFT) is a kind of compounds with similar chemical structure, which are derivatives of dihydrofuran coumarin. Aflatoxin is a secondary metabolite mainly produced by Aspergillus flavus, which has the highest probability in food and feed in hot and humid areas.

2. Nitrosamine is a strong carcinogen, one of the most important chemical carcinogens and one of the four major food pollutants. Food, cosmetics, beer and cigarettes all contain ammonium nitrite. Smoked food contains a lot of nitrosamines, and the occurrence of some digestive system tumors, such as esophageal cancer, is related to the amount of nitrosamines ingested in the diet. When smoked food and wine are ingested together, the harm of nitrosamines to human health will multiply.

3. Dioxin, also known as dioxin (qǐ), is a colorless, odorless and highly toxic fat-soluble substance. Dioxin is actually the abbreviation of dioxin, which refers to two organic compounds with similar structures and properties, including many homologues or isomers. Dioxins include 2 10 compounds, which are very stable, have a high melting point, are extremely insoluble in water, and can be dissolved in most organic solvents. They are colorless and odorless fat-soluble substances, so they are very easy to accumulate in organisms and cause serious harm to human body.

4. Nicotine, commonly known as nicotine, is an alkaloid existing in solanaceae plants and an important component of tobacco. Nicotine can make people addicted or dependent (one of the most difficult drug addiction to quit), and it is usually difficult for people to restrain themselves. Repeated use of nicotine can also increase heart rate, raise blood pressure and reduce appetite. Large doses of nicotine can cause vomiting and nausea, and in severe cases people will die. Tobacco usually contains nicotine, which makes many smokers unable to quit smoking. ?

5. benzopyrene, also known as benzo (а) pyrene, is a common high-activity indirect carcinogen. After 3,4-benzopyrene is released into the atmosphere, it is always combined with aerosols formed by various particles in the atmosphere. Among the inhalable particles below 8 microns, the proportion of inhalable particles is higher. They are inhaled into the lungs through the respiratory tract and enter the alveoli and even the blood, leading to lung cancer and cardiovascular diseases.

Sources of major carcinogens

Aflatoxin: It is most common in rotten peanuts, peanut oil, corn, rice and cottonseed.

Nitrosamines: from rotten grains, vegetables, fish and egg milk.

Dioxins: from tar, asphalt (so don't take the newly paved road) and plastic burning (very harmful).

Nicotine: from tobacco

Benzopyrene: Barbecue? fried food

Sodium nitrite: Vegetable pickled with industrial salt.

Azo group: such as fake pork.
