The safety production supervision department has issued the Regulations on the Supervision and Management of Occupational Health in Workplaces (Order No.47 of state administration of work safety), in which Article 20 stipulates that an employer with occupational hazards shall entrust an occupational health technical service institution with corresponding qualifications to conduct occupational hazard detection at least once a year; In addition to complying with the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the employer with serious occupational hazards shall also entrust an occupational health technical service institution with corresponding qualifications to evaluate the occupational hazards at least once every three years.
Occupational health standard is a technical regulation on the health requirements of working conditions (workplaces) for the purpose of protecting workers' health. It is the technical specification for implementing occupational health laws and regulations and the legal basis for health supervision and management. Employers with serious occupational hazards shall set up or designate occupational health management institutions or organizations, and be equipped with full-time occupational health management personnel.
