Chongqing Education Examinations Institute was established by the former Chongqing Admissions Self-taught Examination Office. It is a deputy bureau-level institution affiliated to Chongqing Municipal Education Commission, and has the brand of Chongqing University Secondary School Admissions Committee Office and Chongqing Higher Education Self-taught Examination Committee Office. Its main responsibility is to be responsible for the specific affairs of all kinds of education examinations in the city.
According to the Reply of the Office of the Central Organizing Committee on the Establishment of Chongqing Education Examinations Institute (No.24 [2009] of the Central Organizing Committee) and the Implementation Opinions of Chongqing Municipal Committee of Chongqing Municipal People's Government on the Institutional Reform of Chongqing Municipal People's Government (No.6 [2009] of Chongqing Municipal Committee), Chongqing Education Examinations Institute was established (with the office signs of Chongqing University Secondary School Admissions Committee and Chongqing Higher Education Self-study Examination Committee).
Main responsibilities:
(a) the implementation of national and municipal laws, regulations, rules and policies on education and examination.
(two) responsible for the development of education examination implementation plan; To undertake specific enrollment affairs entrusted by the Municipal Education Commission.
(three) to be responsible for the entrance examination for ordinary colleges and universities, the entrance examination for graduate students, the entrance examination for adult colleges and universities and the self-study examination for higher education.
(four) to undertake other examinations assigned by the higher education administrative department or entrusted by the relevant social units.
(five) to be responsible for the research, publicity and service of educational examinations.
(six) to provide educational examination decision-making consultation for the higher education administrative departments.
(seven) to guide the business work of education and examination institutions in counties (autonomous counties).
(eight) to participate in the inspection of educational administrative law enforcement.
(nine) to manage the total examination funds approved by the Municipal Education Commission.
(ten) to undertake the specific work of the Municipal College Admissions Committee and the Municipal Higher Education Self-study Examination Committee.
(eleven) to complete other tasks assigned by the Municipal Education Commission.
